Mungwater 601 Posted November 20, 2007 Michelins are the best in the market, but without sizes, its hard to tell. Michelins/BFG: can't go wrong there.
Mungwater 601 Posted November 20, 2007 How about the exact replacements for the ones that are already on there, genius? That could work, only if they're not Goodyears or Continentals.. They're junk. The tire industry is fighting the oil and steel markets in china too, and GY/(most OE tires) are the bottom of the barrel that are just produced to fit the car, not give you performance. The manufacturers have HUGE penalties for not meeting OE demand, so be careful with that one.

swirvenirvin 25 Posted November 20, 2007 Should have bought them last month and saved yourself a hundo
Patriotsfatboy1 1,433 Posted November 20, 2007 Go to the junk yard and get 4 baloney skin emergency tires. That should pimp that ride out just fine. You just need a good all-season radial. Nothing fancy. Check the air regularly (once or twice a month), rotate them regularly (every other oil change) and check the wear on the tread every once in a while. They are black, round and sometimes they hold air If you tell me what size you got, I can ask my dipshit manager what he thinks Try here..

Good info and pretty good prices. Tires are not a huge investment so I get them where I can drop of the vehicle and come back after lunch with new shoes on the ride. However, you can use the tirerack prices as leverage with the local guy.

redtodd 7 Posted November 21, 2007 I am thinking of these: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/findTireD...08206&ar=65 Am I getting too pricey?
Recliner Pilot 61 Posted November 21, 2007 Am I getting too pricey? Let's do the math: 2003 Camry $103 per tire X 4 = $412 for the set. Always a good investment to double the value of your ride with tires.

HenryChinaski 1 Posted November 21, 2007 Buy from Tirerack.com -- Best price/reliability. You're basically getting rid of the middle man. Check out Pirelli PZero Nero's M&S. They are good all weather tires, the best all round tire for a decent price IMO. I have a set on my car right now.
