Fly Fishing, Anyone knowledgeable?

There is a state preserve near where I live (Connectquat) and I've been toying with the idea of checking it out. Teddy Roosevelt fished there. It's pretty pristine. Fish hatchery...the whole nine.

 

Any advice/suggestions for a newbie?

Just don't change yur tidy whiteys for a few days before you go. You won't have to fish for flies, they will find you!

Fly fishing for bass and bluegills is easy. Fly fishing for trout requires a much better presentation as well as more finely tuned equipment. "Matching the hatch" and 2X tipits are the types of issues you have with trout.

Dive In! I think fly fishing is the ultimate type of fishing. I have never tried it yet, but I want to learn. It is like you hunt fish, instead of fishing for fish.

I fish allot but not fly fishing. I would think you would need very tinny hooks thou.
