Well... the '65 Stang is up on eBay as we schpeak...

mmmmm...beer's 1965 Mustang eBay Listing

Thought this would maybe be something we could all taunt me for the next week while we see if anyone wants to buy a mustang on ebay. I've got it listed for 7 days, ending on Saturday, June 7th.

I started it out really low as that's pretty much what everyone online says a guy should do to get the ball rolling. Put it up to high and people won't look because there really hasn't been any bids. It's been up for about 3 hours now and there's uhmmm... 85 individual hits on it so far so...

We'll see I guess.... :wall:

Reserve price = 10k :wall:

Should we all go bid it up? :wall:

Uhmmm..... not so much. The guy holding the bag at the end of the night might not have the cashish to pay the kitty. :wall:

That actually could be a bad thing... fraud and sh!t so... uhmmm no..... lets not do that. :P

Why you selling?

I remember when you were looking, and then when you bought this thing.

2nd child on the way... and we're probably moving out of state soon for a promotion for me. Wherever we go we'd like the wife to stay home with the kids while they're little. She makes pretty good money right now. What I get for my 'stang will pay off three separate debts that would really help out thin out the monthly bills so her staying home would be possible.

I'll probably kick my self in the ass down the road.... but hey.... I'll buy a new one I guess. Something I wouldn't mind ripping apart... this one's to original to change for me.

Don't sell it! save it for your boy !!!

Great job on the restoration. I'm a classic Mustang gal myself (don't own one now but grew up with a limegold '69). My preference is the 67 & 68 style. Not too much Pony, a bit of muscle but not without being too big like the 69-70 style.

Here's a question I just got.

Hello, can be engaged(surrender) the car in France?

What are the conditions?

What is the price of the transport? Thank you

I'm assuming he's asking if I would sell it to someone from France and what the conditions of the sale would be. I guess if he paid the whole thing on Paypal or a bank wire transfer??

Uhmmm I dunno. I've never sold anything overseas much less a vehicle.

The transport part I'm going to tell him to check on the shipping quotes linked to the page and that would be his responsibility to inquire and find out about.

What do you think about the payment options?? :(

Be honest: you set the reserve so high that nobody will meet it unless they make an offer that is way too good to be true. This way you can tell the wife that you tried to sell it, but just weren't able to.

Its a decent trick, but I bet the wife will see through it. The women have a way of figuring this stuff out.

I am considering bidding on it.

Heck... your actually one who can come drive it. :bandana: And if you really wanted it, I'll tell you my reserve price and give it to you for that probably. I'd rather not hastle with selling to someone in Bumfrick, NC.

I was going to bid 20k on it, but apparently the vehicle has no title. <_<

You know I saw that on the frick listing... I double checked it and under where I put it in it shows Clear Title under that slot... I may try to get a hold of their customer service and try to have them fix it.

AAAhhhhhhhhh.... there I fixed it! Thanks for bringing it back!

Oh don't get yer panties in a bunch there Tarheel! Heh.... HD lives 1.5 hours from me... obviously it would be much easier for him to come down. Give me cash or a bank cert. check and drive off in the car than to have to figure out if some dude from across the country was going to come through with his bid.

Comprendo Amigo? :wall:
