I've made several trades throughout the year - some good, some bad- but this is the team I've had for the last few weeks. Brees, Westy and Smith are the only ones there that I drafted. I have absolutely dominated my league. I've had top points 7/13 weeks (hoping for 8/14 after next game). I just don't want some hiccup in the playoff game or championship. Anyone else notice a running back trend in these lineups? None of them have LT in the lineup. Only two have Adrian Petterson. And add one or two teams that drafted a top five preseason consensous pic, and most of you are doing it with players you likely got with your third our fourth pick in the draft, Turner, Forte, Thomas, all top ten running backs.

 

I think the preseason experts need to grow a set and stop trying to recycle last years stats when determining their rankings.

I kept Lynch (2nd round), Turner (8th) and Marshall (12th). Lynch was a gamble with that high of a round to give up. I drafted Turner last year as bench material and held on to him knowing he would be a feature back somewhere this year.

 

My team is 10-3 and tied for the regular season title. I was 10-2 and in the lead in the division but lost this week by 4 points due to Slaton's big game last night. It was my fist loss in 6-weeks. My team has scored over 1,500 points this season already, which is pretty decent for a standard scoring league.

 

My team is the all hit-or-miss squad. Every player is hugely up-and-down with their fantasy scoring but it seems like every single week two or three of my starters go off and have huge weeks while others don't do anything. I haven't had a week were everyone slumped at the same time but I have had weeks where 4 or 5 of my players just bust out. The Most Consistent Award goes to Tampa Bay. They have given my roster production week in and week out...

 

Next year we are moving to 4 keepers and I can't decide who I want to keep. I know I'm keeping Turner (8th) & Marshall (12th). But I have to pick two from Lynch (2nd), Calvin Johnson (3rd), Jay Cutler (7th), Matt Ryan?? (17th), Donnie Avery?? (17th) & Torian?? (17th). I'm leaning towards C.J. and Cutler and grabbing the best available back in the 1st round. I don't know... Maybe Lynch and C.J. and grab a serviceable QB late... We'll see....

 

Anyway, it's been a good year - let's hope I can win 75% of the pot and tell my old College Buddies to SUCK IT!!!

Kinda worried about the playoffs as there are 2 teams playing better than mine right now but fortunately for me, the biggest $$$ prize in our league is best regular season record. Still good money to be made in the playoffs though plus pride and bragging rights.
