You have to bring it. #1 Geek is quite the honor and it won't just be handed to somebody for being a likable guy, posting plenty of banana's or great pics! Ya gotta earn it! With that.....here we go. Match-ups. Round one is simply misc. match ups for no reason. If you don't like your opponent, you may request a new one. Maybe you'll be granted your request....maybe not. The ensuing rounds will be based on points. Highest points vs the lowest points. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCORING RULES: All scoring is -5 to 5 points per scoring opportunity. Automatic Points: You get one point for every year you have been a member. Low Blows: If you throw in a "low blow" you must provide proof for why that should give you a point. If you can not provide valid proof of why you deserve a point(s), you may be deducted points. The Funnies: We geeks like to laugh, make us laugh. The harder we laugh, the better you score. Make us frown, lose points. Links: provide a link that will earn you points. Be careful, you never know what mood everyone will be in! A gross link could net you good points or get you no points. Be aware! Links to videos, pics....whatever you think you need. Your fellow geek: A true geek knows something about everyone here. Tell us a couple things about your opponent! Good or bad. Tell us why: Why should you win your match-up? What makes you a better geek than your opponent? Give us the pros about you and why you should win against whoever you are matched up against. The rebuttle: Whatever your opponent posted you have a shot to say why it's all a hoax and he/she deserves no credit for their reasoning to defeat you. The Ten Pointer!! Public Opinion: There will be a poll for everyone to vote for the geek they want in each match-up. Winner receives ten points. Bonus points: You may acquire bonus points at anytime for whatever reason it may be. The Fifteen Pointer!! Impress Mike: If you can get Mike to chime in and say "I'm impressed" you get fifteen bonus points! However, if Mike chimes and says has a severely negative comment it's a fifteen point loss!! If Mike has to delete your post.....automatic loss! All members are requested to throw out a vote/point(s) if you think a post is worth something!! Non participation can find you an early exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That's it.
