That's the first time I've heard that. Do you have a link?

No. Like I said in another thread, I heard it on M&M. They were slobbing his knob for being "remarkably candid about his first experience on the clock."

Uh great. Candid. Yeah, that's something new for McD too. - Stupid pick.

That was a bad offseason. Good to hear being a Raider fan, but we don't have much to brag about ourselves.

Really..the Raiders havent done anything good in like.... I cant remember when. And, this draft was no different. They still have NO quarterback, NO WR's, NO defensive line....NO....hope.

Broncos will win more games than the Bears this year.

Riiiiiight. Do you follow the sport? Or just your team. Vegas does. That's why they have the Bears with the best odds to win the conference at 7-2. Yeah. I know alot of it has to do with the betting pressure, but this early in the season (when there is no betting to speak of), the casino's have to set it where they think the favorites are gonna be. Here are the betting lines at the MGM this past weekend (I was there for my daughter's wedding):

Top 7 teams - Odds to win the NFC

1) Bears 7-2

2) Gints 4-1

3) Cowgirls 4-1

4) Car. 6-1

5) Philly 13-2

6T) Puckers 7-1

6T) Queens 7-1

Top 11 teams - Odds to win the Super Bowl

1) Pats 3-1

2) Colt 6-1

3) Steelers 7-1

4T) Bears/gints/c-girls 8-1

7T) Queens/SD 10-1

9T) Titans / panthers 12-1

11) Puckers 14-1

And this is *why* the Bears are such favorites:

Discounting the Bears will be a huge mistake for any team that has to play them (or any fans that bet against them). With the addition of Cutler, The Bears now have, hands down, the best QB in the division. Add to that the massive upgrading of the O-line (including the addition of Pace, Omiyale, Shaffer, as well as their #1 draft pick from last season, OT Williams finally getting to play after sitting out last year due to back surgery) and Forte will run at will and easily surpass his phenominal rookie season. Hester will continue to build on a very successful WR improvement of last year, where he doubled his production from the year before (w/ Orton throwing to him, no less), and Olsen will make the leap to top 5 scoring and rec'g TE in the league. Iglesias and at least one other drafed WR will make an impact with Cutler throwing to them, and don't forget that Forte is a good to great option as a dump-off for Cutler.

Defensively, the Bears aren't as old as everyone says they are. Urlacher is getting a bit long in the tooth (but he's still only 30 and has a couple good seasons left in him), and that's about it. They drafted good back-up/starter material for Hillenmeyer, and excellent competition on the D-line. Gilbert will be an animal. Don't forget the upgrade at D-line coach; Marinelli. This should be a huge help to getting Harris back to top form. Briggs was an animal last year and in his prime, as are Vasher and Tillman at corners. Saftey is a concern, but with lots of competition now to try and fill that one hole.

Special teams? The Bears have the best ST's in the division, if not the league (top 3 anyway).

And all this is backed up by Vegas, so bite me.

Beware the Bears, because we're back, baby!!

Denver Broncos just signed another runningback.

(KFFL) Mike Klis, of The Denver Post, reports the Denver Broncos have signed unrestricted free-agent RB Darius Walker (Texans). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Well...Vegas has the odds...why even play the season.

Anyone using Vegas odds in arguments like this needs to stop...

I was going to say that anyone using this many gay nicknames for teams, and then signing his post at teh bottom, probably shouldn't be posting. It's like fifth grade. Surprised he didn't change Bears to Bare Nakeds and Philly to Philthy.
