Hakeem Nicks

By your more targets means better WR logic you must think Roddy White is a better WR than Wayne or Moss.

He had 16 more than Wayne and 27 more than Moss.

It was their rookie season and Harvin was relied on more and given more of an opportunity to make plays. Nicks was hurt right out of the gate and set back especially being a rookie.

It is their rookie seasons. Nicks had Manningham and Smith ahead of him, and both were targeted a lot. Your logic applies when WRs have been in the league and a team knows what they have.

Nicks left many games early with injury.

Nicks is the better WR, he has made better catches and better plays. Harvin has returning on his side, but doubt he will ever be a #1 WR, while I believe Nicks will be within a couple years.

Harvin still has Berrian and Rice infront of him.....so what's your point? Harvin also has a certain RB named Adrian Peterson who gets the ball 25-30 times a game.

Both are good WR's. Both have different skill sets......which is better? Only time will tell. After their rookie years: Harvin 1, Nicks 0. Harvin was offensive rookie of the year, so you are in the minority on this one. Admit it.

give me Nicks.

played in a worse offense with much worse QB play. Still had very close receiving numbers to Harvin. Harvin only pulls ahead with kickoffs and some handoffs which I don't predict he will continue to do for long if he does indeed continue to flourish at WR. When you become relied upon at WR, you usually stop returning kicks if the team can help it. Harvin luckily did not have to be relied upon this year.

Likewise. Nicks put up virtually the same numbers in less time in a lesser offense, and has taken over a starting spot by year's end.

Harvin deserved the Rookie of the Year, but he is not the better receiver. Nicks is more talented, and is only scratching the surface of his ability. The way he stops, goes, and controls his body in routes and after the catch is something special, and so long as he continues to work hard, he will be very good in this league.

Technically speaking, it's still too early to tell, and neither looks to be a bust potential . . . but I drafted Nicks with Harvin still on the board for my dynasty league, and I don't regret it. I'm sure that Harvin supporters feel exactly the same way, though. :bandana:

Everywhere I look Nicks has dropped in value. Word is he is struggling getting separation and doens't have the speed. Sorry guys....there is a reason Nicks was projected in the 2nd round of most teams drafts. There is a reason Crabtree, Maclin, Harvin were all taken infront of him. I am going to stick with this and you guys are going to eat your shorts this year and every year thereafter on this issue.

eat your crow, minion!

Hakeem Nicks led the team with 108 receiving yards on nine receptions and added two touchdowns in the Giants' Week 7 victory over Dallas.

So do you think this guy will put up big numbers for the rest of the year??

Is this the guy to trade for??

I'm thinking Best/Fitzgerald for Nicks.

or Charles/Fitz for Nicks..

Which is better?

I'm pissed I traded him a few weeks too early. I got LT straight up in return, but I wonder if I could get even more now.

At what point this season was Nicks for LT straight up, a good deal?
