mattcoz 3 Posted September 20, 2009 Yup, he's a stud. Has even more value in leagues which count return yardage.

G-in O-town 0 Posted September 21, 2009 Rookie Johnny Knox ran with the starting unit, ahead of Earl Bennett, at split end for the second half of Sunday's win. Knox caught six passes for 70 yards with a touchdown while Bennett had two catches for 22 yards. It's not clear if this is a permanent move yet, but it's a situation worth monitoring. Knox has a lot more big-play potential than Bennett. Source: Chicago Tribune/Rotoworld Anyone smell DeSean Jackson of '08 here?
The Moz 71 Posted September 21, 2009 Johnny Knox is the next Royal. He is starting as of now ahead of Bennett ar at least bennett got yanked yesterday. He is a dynamic playmaker - something the Bears desperatley need.
Jedi Sensei 17 Posted September 21, 2009 They loved this kid in camp. He was (is?) too raw to be a starter, though. He had a hell of a game yesterday, but he was out of position several times during the GB game (costing Cutler his 4th INT). Lovie said post-game that he's gotten better with each snap and it might be true. If he plays well next week, I'll be a believer.
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 21, 2009 I will try to pick him up in one of my leagues where return yardage counts. He seems like another Louis Murphy, only with a better QB.
jocstrap 8 Posted September 21, 2009 I think he's worth a ww pickup. I'll be targeting him in a couple of leagues tomorrow morning.
PATSSOX 22 Posted September 21, 2009 Last week it was Bennett. Who knows who it will be this coming week. yes i am not going to play a Bear the rest of the year unless i get Forte in a trade im am working on. Last week Cutler targeted Bennett like 13 times and yesterday it looked like he targeted this KNOX fella every play. Cutler needs to throw the ball to Olsen and Hester and forget the rest of them

cubbie5150 0 Posted September 22, 2009 The kid does look like a play-maker, but it's gonna be hard to trust any Bears WR on a weekly basis, IMO. I still think that Devin Aromashadu will make some hay in this offense when it's all said and done. I think Cutler needs a larger target in the redzone, and DA might be that guy since Olsen is getting so much attention (& rightfully so).

Franknbeans 46 Posted September 22, 2009 Last week it was Bennett. Who knows who it will be this coming week. -- Knox & Bennett to Rotate; Bears to Play the Hot Hand -- Mon Sep 21, 2009 --from FFMastermind.com The Chicago Sun-Times reports it's no surprise Bears HC Lovie Smith spoke highly of rookie WR Johnny Knox, who caught a team-high six passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. Smith also said there was no reason to read into Knox getting time in two-receiver sets ahead of WR Earl Bennett. ''I wouldn't say over Earl,'' Smith said. ''Johnny's one of the guys in the rotation. We play a lot of guys at that position. No more than that. ''[We're] pleased with what Earl has done, too. Some games, you get into the game and a guy gets hot. And you play him a little bit more and you go to him a little bit more. ... Johnny just brings a lot to the table with that speed. He doesn't realize that he's from Abilene Christian, he's in the big city and supposed to be in awe with everything that's going on.''
Need2Know 0 Posted September 22, 2009 My wrs currently suck donkey balls after reggie wayne I picked this guy up and am hoping he can give me some consistant production. Cutler loves to throw to the same WRs just about every game. Hes 2 for 2 with this guy. we'll see if it continues.....
