RoadLizard 73 Posted September 23, 2009 I remember some plays (big emphasis on some) where Jamarky made ridiculous passes, one in particular (which im sure skids can confirm) where he threw across his body about 50 yards downfield pinpointed to his receiver to beat AZ State with the game on the line. Either he cant get it together because of the Raiders system where everyone since Rich Gannon has failed miserably or if he has progressively gotten more suck. But gawd is he awful The plays you refer to are against college defenses which means any swingin' d!ck could have made those plays. Its obvious college defenses do NOT prepare QBs for the rigors of the NFL. Vince Young looked good too against St. Mary's or U-Rascal-U. Then, he played a REAL defense. Ramrock 17 Posted September 23, 2009 Marc Bulger is the worst QB in the NFL. Every year the line is blamed and every year they revamp it but it still doesn't matter.
RSersen 0 Posted September 23, 2009 I think what's happening here is that as the 90's get farther away, we only remember the hall of famers and forget the scrubs but the 2k decade scrubs are still in our minds and we try to claim that this decade has been so much worse for overall QB play. Also, the QB class of 2004 > class of 1983. Yeah, I said it.

shovelheadt 71 Posted September 23, 2009 Flacco, Matt Ryan, Mark Sanchez, absolutely terrible. Exactly. NFL Network just did a piece on the record stats over the past couple of years for QBs.
LOD01 198 Posted September 23, 2009 I believe Jamacus is the worst QB in the history of the NFL. If he isn't, he is definitely the dumbest. For what its worth, a friend of my boss knows someone in the organization who says cable and the coaches really hate him because he is so stupid. They have to run some vanilla predictable offense because he is to dumb to make any reads and understand a simple playbook. It shows when you watch him play. I have never seen a qb miss so many wide open wrs. The Raiders have at least another 2 years of this walking pile of feces before they finally can give up on him. Just looking at him, you can tell he's retarded.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 23, 2009 At least Russell is still fairly young and has room to grow. I dont' think he'll ever amount to much, but theres still a little upside. I'd cast my vote for Bulger. Since Faulk, Holt, Bruce, and Pace left/aged away he looks lost and scared running the STL offense. How he looked in week one, I wouldn't let him start for any of the local high school teams around here.

That OL blows ass. Bulger probably won't last the year.
