kutulu 1,554 Posted April 15, 2010 With the first round of the draft now seven days away and no tangible discussions being held between Sam Bradford and the St. Louis Rams, it’s pretty apparent nothing is going to get done in the way of a pre-draft deal. Maybe that is for good reason. Dan Graziano of Fanhouse reports that one isn’t coming, either. He cites a source saying Bradford is “not doing a deal, period, until he is drafted.”

'Verbal' 0 Posted April 15, 2010 Speaking at his pre-draft press conference, G.M. Tom Heckert said the team has talked to the Rams about possibly trading up for Sam Bradford, according to Mark Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer.

WhiteWonder 2,196 Posted April 15, 2010 The Browns must really be in love with Sam Bradford to want to trade up to the number 1 pick. Team don't often want to trade into that spot with the money involved.

Fenster 6 Posted April 16, 2010 Per Peter King: 2. I think the Eagles want to come up. Let me rephrase that -- I know they want to come up. The Eagles are in a very small club, teams that want to jump up from low in the first round to the upper half. I believe Philly wants one of the two safeties in the draft -- Eric Berry of Tennessee or Earl Thomas of Texas. With the 24th, 35th, 55th and 70th picks, the Eagles absolutely have the ammo to move up.
Fenster 6 Posted April 16, 2010 Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Ginn has been traded to the 49ers for a 2010 late-round draft pick. Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News reports, citing an NFL source, that there's little doubt the 49ers would select Clausen at 13. pft.com
