Jeepz 0 Posted August 18, 2010 DD and Malcolm Floyd. How sure are any of us that Floyd's isn't just a four-week deal?. I think DD is a stud, he helped me win my championship last year by allowing me to WR my flex and just run with 2 RBs. I'm not sure the guy will ever slow down. remote controller 143 Posted August 18, 2010 A very nice job by Ray turning a position of need into a non factor with 3 wr's in a row.

FeelingMN 273 Posted August 18, 2010 What is there to get so excited about in Malcolm Floyd? I get that he's the de facto WR1, and I get that he had some decent numbers the second half of '09. But is anyone a little apprehensive he'll produce without you know who lined up across from him? Can the dude actually run a route? Will defenses be able to key on him and take him away from Rivers? Not knocking the pick as much as I'm trying to get a feel for your love of Floyd. What do you guys see in him?
Kevinv86 1 Posted August 18, 2010 I had a plan going into this 7th round and once it became my turn, I changed it. I love Moss as my back up due to his ceiling for this year with McNabb as his starter. When is the last time this guy has had a legit QB throwing to him? 2008 he put up good numbers, and with McNabb as his Qb I am hoping for about the same if not better. FeelingMN 273 Posted August 18, 2010 Tough decision for me here....considered a couple different receivers, but in the end I trust the Colts' offense more than the others.

From what i read earlier in training camp, Rivers and Floyd looked as if they had spent extra offseason time working together. Rivers has great things to say about Floyd and I think that bodes well. I'm also one who believes "you know who" has played his last game in San Diego. Ive actually never understood why people are so high on "you know who". Good player yeah but its hard to get excited about a sub 70 reception WR1. Gates takes his share but im willing to bet Floyd can produce similar statistics to "you know who" and thats great for a 7th round price tag.
RLLD 4,215 Posted August 18, 2010 Ray, you can suck on deez nuts for that Malcom Floyd pick Sincerely, WW After emphasizing QB and RB I was pretty much locked in to WR here, and simply took the top two on my list.... Driver is, well, good and should have another solid if unspectacular year, having him as my #1 does not make me upset at all. Floyd is an interesting feller. Showed the kind of play making ability last year that would lead one to believe he is more than special. He could just be comfy in the SD system, he could simply be the beneficiary of Jackson across the way....but I think he is the next #1 WR for SD, and I get the impression they do as well. Gladiators 1,986 Posted August 18, 2010 Not real excited about Stewart, as I think DWill is the more electric back and Stewart isn't much of a pass catcher, but he should be servicable as a backup RB.
WhiteWonder 2,732 Posted August 18, 2010 i was hoping for Stewart. Good pick. went TO here. not really thrilled with any of my options. almost had me wishing i had passed on QB in round 4 in favor of another WR. i think TO will get his share of looks in Cincy. enough to make him a 60-800-8 type guy.
