kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 11, 2011 I noticed your move and would like to congratulate a fellow shorter. Really though if you leveraged your position there on that stock you would be at what ? about 140k. With the allowed margin you can use another mil beyond what you actually have so you could have picked up about 70k shares i think. Which you might want to consider taking into the fact that meoh is down another .3 in after hours trading.

kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 13, 2011 OK ok. So friday at the end of the day I closed out my position on cxz. Its been good to me. Brought be back from the shame of not just last place but last by a lot. I decided to take my money and run. I am doing the same thing with another uranium stock though. I just put in a short order for 65,500 shares of Urz. I think thats the next uranium stock to get pounded. It was down -.12 friday and was down -.16 in after hours trading leading me to believe its going to get pounded when the market opens monday. At 3.95 a fall of .16 cents is a shedding 4% of its share price.

kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 14, 2011 meh. this game kind of sucks.  i still have pending buys and sells from the 9th. You should cancel them out.  To short a stock you go to  make a trade and put in the stock symbol.  Then where it says buy is a drop down menu. Change buy to sell short. When you want to cover your short position you do the same thing and buy to cover. Its really not complicated.
SUXBNME 1,458 Posted March 14, 2011 Its really not complicated. Obviously not given that I was in the lead for a brief period of time. Tomorrow, I'm gonna corner the market on Yen

Which is exactly what I was looking for but I had mistakenly typed in an etf. So that was user error Still, I shouldn't have pending trades from days ago when plenty of funds were available. I tried cancelling them and got an error so who knows.  I also tried shorting Toyota and Hitachi last night and the system kept timing out. They better have gone thru

kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 14, 2011 Yup, my short orders are still there pending. That's nice gains i got screwed out of I ended up losing 11% because they didnt fill my focking order till after noon. Had it been filled 15 min after the market opened like it should have I would have wound up 25% to the good.

Had it been filled 15 min after the market opened like it should have I would have wound up 25% to the good. Â my orders dont even get filled. they just sit in limbo. Â happened 4 times so far. missed out on 5000 shares of SLV before it rose Friday. Missed out on selling my shares of Verizon before it dropped today and missed out on my shorts of Toyota and Hitachi when they both dropped big time today. Â im guessing id be a few places higher. kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 15, 2011 1 more day. ONE MORE DAY. All I had to do was to stick to my thoughts about CXZ being the weakest in the sector. No. I sell friday just to watch it get focking pounded today for a 40 cent loss. Â Oh well I still think that URZ has a ways to go. The Japanese nuclear disaster has already caused Angela Merkel to suspend a plan to prolong the lifespan of Germany's 17 nuclear power plants. I think that alone will send another shock through the sector. Every Uranium stock was pounded today with some losing as much as 27%. Urz lost 18% but another day like today could be coming tomorrow. Â Pisses me off. I should be up A LOT right now. Oh well if you look at the 3 mo, 6mo and 12 mo chart for urz its like a focking lead ballon. It has been in an almost vertical freefall since 4.00 and should easily shed at least 1 and maybe 2bucks over the next week on fears of a slowdown in Uranium purchases. Â Long story short. Ill be back you focking silverbugs.

kilroy69 1,218 Posted March 15, 2011 I ended the day up a measly 5% when I sold urz . I chink I may have caught something in their chart though and may actually buy back in if it happens again tomorrow. Its pretty damn close between the top.
