Rcommend some music that I need to hear

IMO there was one CD that came out after Nirvana Nevermind that was almost as good. But I think women have better voices than men .... that'd be the band Elastica and their self titled CD. I like every song on that CD.

If you don't know that album, Elastica, Elastica ... it's all good.

 

I've yet to hear a better complete rock album. And I've heard Veruca Salt, and The Breeders (like them a lot), Sneaker Pimps and Morningwood and Blondie ... and lotsa women led bands .... but since Elastica .... nobody has put out a complete album like that since. I'd put it up there with Pearl Jam, Ten and Nirvana, Nevermind. Everyone has heard it ... Connection has been sampled so many times for commercials. First in a Budweiser superbowl ad (the blimp ad). They all got rich off that one song, and promply broke up.

If I heard them before knowing their name I might have mistaken them for U2.Maybe you've come across another cover band now doing their own thing.
