Kansas City... 8-8

The Chiefs got kissed with the schedule in 2010 (finished 10-6) but this year is a different story. New England, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Jets, Packers, Bears... ouch.

WK DATE OPPONENT TIME (ET)
1	Sun, Sep 11	Buffalo 1:00 PM
2	Sun, Sep 18	at Detroit 1:00 PM
3	Sun, Sep 25	at San Diego 4:05 PM
4	Sun, Oct 2	Minnesota 1:00 PM
5	Sun, Oct 9	at Indianapolis 1:00 PM
7	Sun, Oct 23	at Oakland 4:05 PM
8	Mon, Oct 31	San Diego 8:30 PM
9	Sun, Nov 6	Miami 1:00 PM
10	Sun, Nov 13	Denver 1:00 PM
11	Mon, Nov 21	at New England 8:30 PM
12	Sun, Nov 27	Pittsburgh 8:20 PM
13	Sun, Dec 4	at Chicago 1:00 PM
14	Sun, Dec 11	at NY Jets 1:00 PM
15	Sun, Dec 18	Green Bay 1:00 PM
16	Sat, Dec 24	Oakland 1:00 PM
17	Sun, Jan 1	at Denver 4:15 PM

I like the direction of this team and there is some nice talent on both sides of the ball but with this schedule, they'll have to play as well as they did last year just to be 8-8. Three primetime games (2 Monday nighters, 1 Sunday nighter).

**Bengals**

Cleveland twice, Denver, San Fran, Buffalo, Jax, Seattle, Tenn, Houston, St Louis, Arizona...while a few of these teams are decent, none strike fear into anyone. Hell, first 3 games are against rookie coaches. All are 50/50 for a win. Combine that with the last 2 games being at home.....3 - 13.

New England Patriots

Monday, Sept. 12 – at Dolphins (7 p.m.) - WIN, but Pats usually have a tough time in Miami

Sunday, Sept. 18 – vs. Chargers (4:15 p.m.) - WIN, mainly because I don't see the Chargers winning in Foxborro

Sunday, Sept. 25 – at Bills (1 p.m.) - WIN, Buffalo won't be much improved

Sunday, Oct. 2 – at Raiders (4:15 p.m.) - LOSS, Pats often struggle out west and Raiders play tough

Sunday, Oct. 9 – vs. Jets (4:15 p.m.) - WIN, Pats will be looking to get revenge (too bad it isn't in the playoffs!)

Sunday, Oct. 16 – vs. Cowboys (4:15 p.m.) - WIN, although Cowboys could bounce back bigtime this year

Sunday, Oct. 23 – BYE

Sunday, Oct. 30 – at Steelers (4:15 p.m.) - LOSS, will be a good game but tough to pull out the W in Pittsburgh

Sunday, Nov. 6 – vs. Giants (4:15 p.m.) - WIN, after all David Tyree isn't on the Giants anymore

Sunday, Nov. 13 – at Jets (8:20 p.m.) - LOSS, Jets could take the division this year

Monday, Nov. 21 – vs. Chiefs (8:30 p.m.) - LOSS, Pats always struggle against the teams that know them the best

Sunday, Nov. 27 – at Eagles (4:15 p.m.) - WIN, this isn't the type of game the Eagles pull out

Sunday, Dec. 4 – vs. Colts (8:20 p.m.) - WIN, Indy playing in New England in January? 'Nuff said

Sunday, Dec. 11 – at Redskins (1 p.m.) - WIN, although I do expect Shanahan to give Belichick fits

Sunday, Dec. 18 – at Broncos (4:15 p.m.) - LOSS, Pats always have a tough time in Denver

Saturday, Dec. 24 – vs. Dolphins (1 p.m.) - WIN, time to turn it on for the playoffs

Sunday, Jan. 1 – vs. Bills (1 p.m.) - WIN, Bills don't have much to play for

Final record: 11-5. I think they will actually be a better team than last year, but they were lucky to go 14-2 last year despite how terrible their defense was.

Chicago Bears

10-6

We beat: CAR, DET, DET, MIN, MIN, TB, GB, OAK, DEN, SEA

WE lose: ATL, NO, GB, PHI, GB, KC,

GB can sweep us, but we always hang tough against GB even when they are favored. I think we narrowly win a least one game against them.

DET is getting better, they play us hard. but i think this is our last year of sweeping them, and i think we have to fight to come away with the wins.

MIN needs a QB. I think they finish last in the division this year (assuming they don't land a vet QB)

ATL,NO, GB are just better teams. we open against all them and Its possible we start the season 0-3.

PHI-we can beat them, in fact we just did recently, but i think they get us this time. My gut is telling me we win this but my head disagrees.

KC- i think they pull off the win against us if cassel is on point.

Indy Colts - I see them going 12-4 this season. Still a strong team and if we can stay healthy, we can still win the division and make our record playoff run!

Bold is Win:

1 9/11 @ Houston Texans 1:00 PM - Stunned us last year on the opening game at Houston, I don't see Manning making it a habit.

2 9/18 CLEVELAND BROWNS 1:00 PM- Shouldn't be a problem beating the browns at home.

3 9/25 PITTSBURGH STEELERS 8:20 PM - Love this game, I love playing the Steelers. Can see it going either way. Home team wins this one.

4 10/3 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers 8:30 PM - TB can't stop Manning

5 10/9 KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 1:00 PM - Chiefs gave us some fits last year. Manning still found a way to get it done. They just don't have an offense.

6 10/16 @ Cincinnati Bengals 1:00 PM - Bengals already have way too many issues, even at home, I see them being a mess this season.

7 10/23 @ New Orleans Saints 8:20 PM - Would love to see this as a SB rematch in our favor, but home team gets the win.

8 10/30 @ Tennessee Titans 1:00 PM - New Coach, maybe new QB? Just not a match for Manning.

9 11/6 ATLANTA FALCONS 1:00 PM - I love Atlanta's team. If this was at their home, I would favor them, but Ryan loses to Manning in this one.

10 11/13 JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 1:00 PM - Jacksonville at home, we split with them. But this is our win.

11 11/20 BYE - none

12 11/27 CAROLINA PANTHERS 1:00 PM - Manning breaks Brady's td's in a single game in this one? :) Admit it, after what the owner said to him, everyone wants to see it!

13 12/4 @ New England Patriots 8:20 PM - Weather and location is too much and the Colts won't win a close game.

14 12/11 @ Baltimore Ravens 1:00 PM - Baltimore hasn't beaten Indy for years. Weather and location does it in a two game losing streak.

15 12/18 TENNESSEE TITANS 1:00 PM - Colts bounce back to win at home against another rival.

16 12/22 HOUSTON TEXANS 8:20 PM - Colt still playing to win the division, pull out the sweep.

17 1/1 @ Jacksonville Jaguars 1:00 PM - Division and playoffs wrapped up, Jags always play rough at home, we sit starters and Jags win.

Philadelphia Eagles

Week 1- at St Louis- W- This won't be an easy opener against Stafford and the much improved Rams

Week 2- at Atlanta- L- Eagles usually start slow, and Atlanta is very tough at home

Week 3- vs NY Giants- W- Eagles pull out a close one at home

Week 4- vs San Fran- W- Should win at home vs the Niners

Week 5- at Buffalo- W- The Eagles win a tight one in Toronto

Week 6- at Washington- L- I'll say the Eagles usually lose once to the Skins (unless a rookie QB plays)

Week 7- BYE

Week 8- vs Dallas- W- Cowboys are always tough, but the Eagles beat them at home

Week 9- vs Chicago- W- Revenge game for the awful performance in Week 16 last season

Week 10- vs Arizona- W- Should win at home vs the Cardinals

Week 11- at NY Giants- L- Tough to win on the road in the NFC East

Week 12- vs New England- L- Could go either way here, but NE will be the better team

Week 13- at Seattle- W- Tough to play in Seattle, but the Eagles are the better team

Week 14- at Miami- L- I think the Eagles will likely go 1-1 at Seattle/at Miami..ill say Miami is the loss

Week 15- vs NY Jets- W- Very tough game, but I think the Eagles can win at home here

Week 16- at Dallas- L- Again, tough to win on the road in the NFC East

Week 17- vs Washington- W- If the Eagles need this game, they win at home vs the Skins

So I guess I realistically see them going 10-6. I think they very well could go 11-5 or even 12-4 if they sweep someone in the division (should sweep the Skins but never do). The middle/late part of their schedule is pretty tough starting in Week 11. But 10-6 should be good enough to win the NFC East. Looks like they got 3 Sunday night games, 1 Monday night game, and 1 Thursday night game.

VERY NICE!!! I was going to upload my predections for the colts too but you seem to have it covered!

lets just hope they play the starters till the end this year and beat the jags to make it 13-3

Decent predictions but i think out of Falcons, Steelers, and KC i think you colts lose at least 1, ot possibly all 3 of those games. Chiefs offense is better you then think. Moeaki, Bowe, Charles. All solid capable players. I think KC establishes the run well enough to do some work with play action. Ill say 11-5 for the colts. I could easily see 10-6 but peyton finds a way to the get W.

I have them at 11-5 with a loss at Minn.

DETROIT LIONS

REGULAR SEASON

Sunday, Sept. 11 at Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. LOSS Freeman and Co. are primed for a big year. But who will cover Calvin?

Sunday, Sept. 18 vs. Kansas City, 1 p.m. WIN Cassell will get exposed this year. And no one will cover Calvin!

Sunday, Sept. 25 at Minnesota, 1 p.m. WIN Lions take advantage of a couple of McNabb turnovers and pull out a surprise!

Sunday, Oct. 2 at Dallas, 1 p.m. LOSS Romo and Bryant shoot it out with Stafford and Calvin (unless Mrs. Stafford is hurt by then)

Monday, Oct. 10 vs. Chicago, 8 p.m. WIN A jacked up Mon. night crowd brings the roof down on the Bears.

Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. San Francisco, 1 p.m. WIN SF QB Blaine Gabbert struggles

Sunday, Oct. 23 vs. Atlanta, 1 p.m. LOSS Manning (I mean Ryan) is too much for Lions secondary

Sunday, Oct. 30 at Denver, 4:05 p.m. LOSS In a close one. Lions struggle out there.

Sunday, Nov. 6 BYE

Sunday, Nov. 13 at Chicago, 1 p.m. LOSS Bears at home handle Lions. Unless Suh breaks Cutlers face early.

Sunday, Nov. 20 vs. Carolina, 1 p.m. LOSS Typical Lions. Newton runs for 150 yards, passes for 12. Yet Car wins...

Thursday, Nov. 24 vs. Green Bay, 12:30 p.m. LOSS Lions aint in their league.

Sunday, Dec. 4 at New Orleans, 1 p.m. LOSS See above...

Sunday, Dec. 11 vs. Minnesota, 1 p.m. WIN Lions sweep Minn and knock them out of playoff contention

Sunday, Dec. 18 at Oakland, 4 p.m. WIN No way mcFadden is healthy this late in the year, Best goes Beast back on the west coast!

Saturday, Dec. 24 vs. San Diego, 4 p.m. LOSS A playoff hungry Rivers has to score points, but they do win.

Sunday, Jan. 1 at Green Bay, 1 p.m. LOSS GB is gearing up for the playoffs and motors past a listless Lions team.

For a grand total 6-10. Typical Lions football, they'll beat a couple people they shouldn't, then lose to Carolina. Hopefully, they get some Oline and secondary help in the draft and play well enough to give us Lions fans hope. That is what we live on. Not success. Hope.

Seahawks: (Probably regardless of the QB)

At S.F. - Loss

At Pit - Loss

home Arizona - Win

home Atlanta - Loss

At Giants - Loss

bye

At Cleve - Win

Home Cinn - Win

At Dallas - Win (Probably should be a loss, but we have to win a road game somewhere. I am going to assume we are hot at this time)

Home Balt - Loss

At St. Louis - Loss

home Wash - Win

home Phily - Loss

home St. Louis - Win

At Chicago - Loss

Home S.F. - Loss - S.F. is up 2 games on us and this closes the deal with S.F. winning the division in a close game at home.

At Arizona - Loss - This game is who gives up the most for a better draft pick. Maybe we win this actually.

But I gave us a win over Dallas instead of this one.

Final Record for the Seahawks = 6-10. Top 8 draft pick.

S.F. wins division at 9-7 (Hawks 6-8 vs 8-6 in that matchup, but it was a bleak hope even if they won)

I don't see how it could get much better then this with Hass, and it could be worse with Whitehurst. But, I don't really think it would be. I think my projections are about the same regardless. I think Whitehurst would give other variables I won't go into. A 1st round Rookie could be about the same also.

So regardless of QB this is my .02

(We still have a lot of rebuilding to do)

As long as we don't get injured like last year, I think all three of those games are wins. I do agree, it wouldn't surprise me to see us drop one, but I would think it would be the Steelers.

Yeah i worry about the IND run defense and they seem to struggle against upper tier RBS. (turner, charles). And KC gave peyton some serious trouble. I'm higher on Kansas City than most people. Although i will agree Peyton/wayne/collie/garcon/clark/tamme/saturday is not an offense i would bet against. However Austin collie averages about 3 concussions per play.

I still feel he was running more of Clark's routes after he went down, which is why he was getting destroyed in the middle. Clark has taken those hits without issues. Collie was better suited at the time for those routes, than Tamme, so they tried it. It failed. Hopefully with Clark back, Collie can run more out routes, instead of splitting defenders that can light him up.

Im interested to see what they do with tamme this year. Peyton seems to make a weapon out of anyone. I think if the colts show they can utilize both TE's in the passing game along with Wayne/garcon/collie then it will give defensive coordinators some real problems.

I agree, I am just not sure if they will use him, unless injury. I could see him quickly forgotten in a big pool of players a head of him. I do think he did well and should get some playing time. He will be Clark's backup, where Eldridge will be used for blocking.

You think? Tamme had 67 catches. Most of them coming over a span of 8 games. That pretty productive. I feel it would be hard to just send him to the bench. Even with Clark.
