Welp, my draft didn't go as planned

Recommended Posts

I know things like this are reserved for "A little help" board but...no one could help me there.

here's a screenshot of my draft: http://tinypic.com/r/2eupgns/7

I think I royally ###### up. 12 team. non ppr. serpentine draft. third pick. 6 pts for touchdowns

just someone tell me how I did?

I would have gone for a better WR over Gore.

i dont see anything wrong.

your backups suck with the exception of Edwards who i think will be solid wherever he ends up.

Marshall might be a letdown in a non PPR league, especially if he continues to have problems scoring TD's.. I am big on Holmes. starting RB's are great and you have a great QB.

Ronnie Brown and Jackson, Brandon is where I'm scratching my head. my options sucked :shocking:

going to drop Derrick Mason too

Yeah, surely there had to be better backups then R. Brown and jackson at that point. At least someone with some upside if an injury occurs like M. Bush or Rashad Jennings. With Gore's injury history, you will need to play the waiver and pick up a potential RB somewhere.

You have no depth....and not a lot of guys with high upside.

Meh....not a bad draft, but nothing very exciting either.

How did you get Johnson with the 6th pick? Someone pick up a QB/WR before you?

Since you starters are strong, look for those FA darlings that seem to pop up every year and drop the losers then. Example:

2010 - Arian Foster/Brandon Loyd

2009 - Chris Johnson (2008 was good but 2009 was special)/Ray Rice/Miles Austin

2008 - Aaron Rodgers/DeAngelo Williams

(I know these guys weren't in FA in most leagues, but who knew they would blow up?)

Yea how does gore fall that far, and even brees in rnd 3 is a bit of a shocker.

Brees and Rivers have round 3 ADPs at all the major sites. Really great value there.
