stick 2 Posted September 6, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUHlIPJTMIg&feature=player_embedded Time to take off the gloves. Ron Paul campaign kicks it into high gear and exposes Slick Rick Perry for the fraud he is. Take a look at this official campaign ad that is about to be plastered all over the airwaves. NewbieJr 540 Posted September 6, 2011 Glad to see Paul's planning on taking the low road and beginning the smear tactics right off the bat. Of course, what else would he run on?

IMMensaMind 459 Posted September 6, 2011 It may be a somewhat effective ad, but it's loaded with irony and hypocrisy. Reagan himself was a former Democrat, and Ron Paul saw fit to support him...but here is Perry - also a reformed Democrat, espousing virtually an identical message to Reagan at the time - and he is forced to attack him, as his primary opposition. He should have gone with a positive message instead, because airing this message risks alienating voters like me, who are torn between Paul and Perry. MedStudent 56 Posted September 6, 2011 Perry is a lot more like Reagan than Paul is but it could be an effective ad. I think Paul needs to target the main stream reaganite conservatives and this is the type of ad that could make some of them reconsider Perry. But smart people will see through the bullshiit of this ad. And did Gore really favor a tax increase during his campaign? I thought he was talking about putting excess tax money in a "lockbox" while Bush favored a tax cut. Maybe he was, i'm just too lazy to google that campaign. NewbieJr 540 Posted September 6, 2011 Churchill never said that. It's been falsely attributed to him by others. BS. BLS has an actual video of him saying it. He keeps it under his Ron Paul Fathead and his suit of armour that he puts on when he's feeling especially scared of everything.
DankNuggs 305 Posted September 6, 2011 Churchill never said that. It's been falsely attributed to him by others. Doesn't mean it isn't true... Kind of like this Warren Buffet BS fellating/pandering... "Well if Warren Buffett said it (because of political influence and potential gain) then it MUST be true..." BudBro 117 Posted September 6, 2011 ron paul sucks. he isn't made to be president. why can't he hitch his wagon to someone who has a chance to win, like perry, and be useful as an advisor. his policies would likely be put to use if he would pick a team. It's been falsely attributed to him by others. may have been will rogers. nonetheless, when you begin to make money as a doctor, you'll change your mind when the communists want to take it away. when obamacare kicks in and you have to work twice as long for half as much, you'll change your mind. it's alright to evolve. it's the alleghory of the cave...soon you'll walk into the light. Usually I follow up with: So, were you a liberal when you my age (25)? And the question never gets answered. Their favorite 2 conservatives, Churchill and Reagan were liberals in their mid thirties. I don't know that I would ever say I was a liberal, but I certainly shared the opinion of liberals from time to time. I changed soon after I got my first real paycheck. BLS 313 Posted September 6, 2011 Churchill never said that. It's been falsely attributed to him by others. Learn something new everyday. Thanks for making me dig up the truth. While the sentiment is certainly astute and wise, the saying did not originate with Churchill. In fact, that wording is a variation of, "The man who is not a socialist at twenty has no heart, but if he is still a socialist at forty he has no head?, which belongs to the former French Prime Minister Aristide Briand, who was himself a recovered socialist.
