IGotWorms 4,063 Posted September 19, 2011 Yeah Foster is looking like a fantasy team killer this year. Who knows how long this hammy issue will affect him, and even when he gets back it looks like he'll be splitting time with Tate. Only a Tate injury can save Foster owners at this point. Kingstowne Dealers 14 Posted September 19, 2011 Per Rotoworld: Arian Foster conceded Sunday night that his troublesome hamstring tightened up at halftime, forcing him out of final two quarters of Week 2.Coach Gary Kubiak stated in a post-game press conference that Foster was fatigued, suggesting the hamstring isn't a problem anymore. It still is. "I pulled myself out because I felt it was getting a little tight," Foster conceded. Hamstring pulls are so susceptible to re-aggravation that the Texans would probably be best served shutting down Foster for two weeks, and then reevaluating. It's clear that they can more than just get by with Ben Tate in the meantime.

Kent 228 Posted September 19, 2011 Gary Kubiak = Focking lying POS. Kubiak hasn't been honest about anything. You just have to see through the BS. See what happens in practice all week, and decide. I don't even pay attention to him. Limited in practice with a hammy meant I'm starting Tate. The Houston news reporters are full of even more ****. skinsrule05 30 Posted September 19, 2011 I'd trade Foster now if I thought I could get a decent player for him. I wouldn't do that. I can't imagine getting anything close to his value. Right now he is the hurt guy whose backup is out playing him. How much do you really think you could get.

Borat33 17 Posted September 19, 2011 I will start Tate next week regardless of what Ratface Jr says about Foster practicing. Tate has 2 100 yard games in a row. He is going to get plenty of carries next week and for the foreseeable future.

BLS 315 Posted September 19, 2011 I'm a Tate owner, so I'm probably very biased, but there's a reason I got him. Hammy's tend to linger. Injuring it, and RE-injuring it during the preseason is a sign of a nagging injury. The fact that they rushed him back when they didn't have to is just dumb IMO. You know Tate and Ward and Slaton can carry the load. They may have set him back a month or more now. It's likely that this injury could plague him the whole year if they aren't careful. I'm starting Tate every week from now on (and I DIDN'T play him this week), until they sit Foster for 3 or 4 games straight. If they try to play him next week, he'll just re-injure it again IMO. A hammy tear takes 6 weeks of rest to let the tissue scar down and become stable to allow a guy to return to activity. Add to that about 2 weeks to the muscle back into shape. I would say foster is out or limited for another 3-4 weeks
