Chicago Bears and Monday Night Football Fans

Recommended Posts

So as a Bears fan yes I'm very worried about the Suh and whoever else will be playing on the D-Line against our weak O-line. Looks like maybe they got the right guys in the right positions last week to possibly get to being a mediocre line instead of horrible. If Bears can run the ball again with good success this should be a great game.

But must say I'm shocked Lions fans are really excited about getting to see Julius Peppers again. Really? Lined up again against that turnstile you have at left tackle? Might as well start sizing up Stafford for a flak jacket now...........

Julius who? Did he play tonight?

well, that shut the bear fans up. guess they're all going to hibernate now for the next few years as the bears have no hope of anything other than third-place for probably years to come.

Where was this high point blowout you were calling for?

Face it...for much of the game Detroit could not do much against the Bears D.

2 big plays change the game. Detroit got them, so kudos for that, but it was a decently close game most of the way through.

I don't think it will be easy @Chicago for them...now next week also does not look easy either.

Wait...this is a Detroit thread...what do the Packers have to do with it?

BTW...yes, GB beat New Orleans.

Just more fuel for the fire. These Lions are only improving as the season progresses. (example: Look at the run step up last night)

Defense will still have room to improve... I know that is scary for you...

I was telling you LAST WEEK... Defensive battle... Detroit to put points up early and manage the lead in the end.

DONE

But you gotta admit...Lions D was on Cutler like fuzz on a peach!

One big run and you act like the running game is fixed?

OK you hang your hat on the Saints win... I would rather ride the wave of a team continuing to improve... This will be a MONSTER team come Thanksgiving Day! And where will you be when GB goes down then?

don't feed the cheesed!ck trolls. they live in a delusional world where they think god is on their side and the packers should be awarded the division every year without having to show up. and they also think the national media should only be talking about rodger's chest hairs and they get pissy when any other team gets more love than the packers. they're never going to wrap their minds around the lions being good, so just ignore them. let them go bump jizz off to the packers in other threads and ignore their stupidity here.

Shoo... If you look closer at my coments... I said improving by the game... that means finding ways to win... run is improving.

Keep trying tho... ;)

don't get sucked in by this ######. he spends all day at his cubicle at work posting here. you can say the sky is blue and he'd argue otherwise and not let you get the last word in.

Right here :pointstosky:

I can't wait... It will be like dropping a Rodgers steak in the Suh/Fairley Lions den! I predict ice baths for Aaron November 25/26.

13 tds/4ints (19/5 going back to last season)and 101 passer rating.

not too shabby for a 23-year-old kid playing in only his 17th pro game.

just think of how good he'll be when he's 24

We will be right here as we always are.

You know...a place you Lions fans are usually gone from by November.

Speaking of continuing to improve...Packers defense rings a bell there, but a story for another thread there.

I see your comments...you take one big run as a sign the run game is improving.

I disagree.

But anything that makes you feel better I guess.

Hilarious...you guys win 5 games and look at how quickly you reverted to old swampa gain.

Too damn funny.

BTW...you are the only one who ever brings up who the media is talking about.

Im fine with the media not talking about the Packers (too bad they actually are and are still getting more love than the Lions).

Im fine if people want to take GB lightly.

I think every one of us has admitted the Lions are good right now.

The only one speaking stupidity is you.

You brought up the Packers and if they have not beaten anyone with a winning record because you could not handle don's criticism (that was meant to get you riled up...and it worked).

Maybe they are just exactly copying your disappearing behavior after every Packer trouncing of the Lions over the last decade :dunno:

Monkey see, monkey do!

swamp talking about others disappearing...more priceless hypocrisy.

BTW...there have not been many bear fans on this board all year.

Walter barely posts anymore...about all you have is sweetness running around from time to time in the seahawks thread.

Pretty soon, they're going to have to find a gloss for that Lions defensive line.

i believe the gloss is qb blood :pointstosky:

funny thing is that even when opposing teams over-compensate for detroit's rush by doing quick slants and 3-step drops (like the bears were doing last night), their qb still gets knocked down about 15 times a game :overhead:

So you are disputing the fact that for much of that game Best was doing little to nothing?

BTW...Ryan Grant gashed that defense too.
