Citi Kid 0 Posted September 30, 2011 With Run DMC running as hard as he is, whats the concensus on which week he'll go down? I have a hard time buying into him running that hard and physical and making a full season. Will he make it to his bye week?
steelers2101 7 Posted September 30, 2011 I need this to happen to make up for me making the horrible mistake of passing on him for a player I ultimately traded for Felix Jones and Ryan Fitzpatrick (who is my backup to Brees).

steel827 2 Posted September 30, 2011 He makes it through the season. Not only does he make it through, but he becomes the #2 consensus player taken in next years draft. He will shed the injury risk reputation. 2,600 total yards and 25 TDs. Monster. On a serious note, I do believe he will make it through the year. The Bye comes at a perfect time (week 8) and there are not a whole lot of physical defenses he is going up against. Getting 20 carries a game is also a plus. Not too many, but enough to put up nice numbers. I got him at #7 and targeted him from the get go. I may have reached based on ADP, but I got the guy I wanted. LanceRoten 0 Posted September 30, 2011 Drafted DMac 4th in one league, 8th in another. Had him singled out from the start after having him last season in a different league. Won only 6 games last year, I credit McFadden for all 6 . Singled him out this season, praying he does not get hurt

A few things.... - you sound jealous that you don't have him. - your rb's are peterson and hillis. which week do those 2 hard runners go down? - you're an idiot for starting this injury watch for mcfadden thread. no offense. Pavlov 0 Posted September 30, 2011 Not this week since the Pats' D seems incapable of tackling.

Ray_T 792 Posted September 30, 2011 I own him and I'd be lying if I told you I wasnt at least a little concerned about his injury history. With that being said, he has adjusted his running style somewhat and he does not run upright to the same degree he did before. This will help make him less prone to injury. Otherwise, I just hope he keeps it together. hes been getting nicked up a bit of late, and I hope he can remain productive.

We Tigers 71 Posted September 30, 2011 Ryan Grant and Daniel Thomas have been ruled out for week 4. In the first 3 weeks, Foster, Steven Jackson, Beanie, Hillis, Charles, and Moreno have all missed at least 1 game. With 8 starting backs having missed time already, this label of DMC as being oh-so-"injury-prone" is pretty silly.

However he hasn't played a full season since he's been in the NFL. He has never played more than 13 games in a year. I still think it is a concern of sorts. GridIronAssassin#1 0 Posted October 1, 2011 If I didn't think RunDMC would get injured, I'd throw Michael Bush back into the waiver wire pool. It's not like I'm keeping Michael Bush for his week to week production.
dcgangstas 41 Posted October 2, 2011 It's really bad karma to speculate on the injury of a player. Having said that, I made certain to handcuff Michael Bush in every league that I took Run-DMC. I wish him good health (and 1600 yards rushing) this year!!!
justforbeer 41 Posted October 2, 2011 I will be watching RUN DMC from the sidelines this weekend. As long as the Pats do not get a quick 14 point lead on them(which is very possible), he should have a solid game. What running back doesn't get hurt these days? Seems like they all get dinged up a week or 2. Do have to point out he did have a bit of a groin issue last week...so hopefully that is all good.

Even if they fall behind I don't think it really hurts him as much as it might other top backs. From a fantasy perspective, the beautiful things about the Raiders is that they seem to be more willing to stick with the run even if they happen to fall behind. McFadden is their best weapon, whether running or catching a short pass. He won't ever not be involved. And on top of that their passing game is moderately limited and largely based off the run. It's not like they are Houston and can just go no huddle on you.
