How fast would you be willing to drive into a steel or brick wall for $1 million?

Recommended Posts

Keep in mind, the wall is immovable.

You get a standard SUV. We'll say a GMC Acadia or Ford Explorer. You don't get anything extra other than standard...just the seatbelt, airbag and whatever other safety measures are standard.

If said 20 mph....most you would do it....no questions asked.

If I said 150 mph, most (all) wouldn't do it.

So what's yer top number?

Oh...and I'll add that this is sort of like an auction. Whoever "bids" the highest would get the crack at the $1 million.

If the money would go to my wife, tax free, I'd do it on a speed motorcycle with the throttle all the way down.

And if it wasn't tax free?

Prolly not more than 20 mph. Even if I survived the money would be useless to myself or my family bcoz it would all be spent on medical expenses.

I would want to hit the wall at about mach 7. This way the momentum carries me through the wall and then I could safely stop with no injuries.

Sure, if I could pick out the brick wall.

Which would be a single brick.

20 would be no issues...I wouldn't think. I would surmise that around 40-50 you'd be at some decent risk.

I'll enter my dad. His bid is the speed of light.
