Fearsome 22 Posted October 2, 2012 I know the news has not been good for Nicks. He was just released yesterday in my league and my first instinct was "crap, where is the add/drop page!". I am a Cruz owner. Is it worth grabbing him? Would you ever play both at the same time? I have VJax, Bowe and Maclin.
nikki2200 4 Posted October 2, 2012 Your WRs are enough to not want to "grab" him. And it would just cause you unnecessary week to week drama deciding who to play if he does come back healthy.
420allstars 13 Posted October 2, 2012 yes.. definetly.. no matter if you own cruz or not the ceiling is sooo high with nicks

Ditka vs. ______ 0 Posted October 2, 2012 You shouldn't even be debating this. PICK HIM UP! - What do you mean would I ever start both. 2 weeks ago they put up 10/199/1 and 11/179/1 in the same game.
hellfish21 1 Posted October 2, 2012 Week 2 vs TB: Nicks 10-199-1 Cruz 1-179-1 There's enough to go around for you to start both.
NorthernVike 2,080 Posted October 2, 2012 If nothing else, pick him up and trade his ass.
Serpent 51 Posted October 2, 2012 I would drop Maclin for him. I dropped Maclin for Hartline after Week 2. Nicks and Maclin are both always injured, but Nicks has huge upside when he isn't, while Maclin is at best an above average WR who wouldn't even start on your team with your other WRs. Frozenbeernuts 1,654 Posted October 2, 2012 Don't pick him up. The smell of desperation is just too thick.

Ditka vs. ______ 0 Posted October 2, 2012 Don't pick him up. The smell of desperation is just too thick. Agreed - he's jut too needy. And nobody finds that attractive.

Fearsome 22 Posted October 2, 2012 I am in a keeper league so if he is done for the year, if I hold him for the rest of the year, I can keep him for a 6th round pick in next years draft. I see that as a value pick. I made the add/drop for Bennett. We don't require a TE and Bennett was my WR5 so I pulled the trigger. It has not been approved yet. He was available since Sunday morning so 48 hours passed before my request. I am hoping another owner didn't beat me to the punch. If not, I am fine (I hope )
