The Thursday Night Football Conundrum

Recommended Posts

TNF has outright sucked from a fantasy football perspective this year, and first week of most playoffs it had huge repercussions this week. Somehow I'm loaded with Broncos and Raiders in a couple of leagues. Debating starting the Jets D over Denver D. Also have Moreno, Decker, McFadden, Reece in the mix as well. Thursday night football may ruin my season! :wall:

I'm starting to come around on TNF . It's an early indicator of what I can do with my weekend players . If my Thurs. players have a huge game ( like what Doug Martin did, not my player btw ), I can play the high risk/high reward players on the weekend . If not or they play below projections, I'll start the safe plays on the weekend .

I'm starting Decker and the Denver D tonight .

It seems like the only good play on Thursdays is defense. I am playing Denver sitting McFockdem and Reece. Oakland will probably put up 50.
