Granted, he drops out of the 1st round on my board simply because the opposing offense could probably tip him off that the next play is designed to be run in the stands, and Te'o would take off on a dead sprint for the popcorn guy. But I don't think he was in on the hoax. I agree with the first part. On the second part: he talked about how their "relationship" took off after she told him her father had died, and he became her shoulder to cry on. I could spin it as he is a highly emotional person who would reach down his own throat and pull out an organ if you needed a transplant. Not sure that is a bad thing in a teammate.
