The Moz 71 Posted February 25, 2013 In all honesty - Skyfall was the best Bond movie ever (not close - and yes I have seen them all -- sad I know ) -- in a series that's been going for like 50 years -- was it even nominated?

NewbieJr 541 Posted February 25, 2013 Pitch Perfect was shamefully overlooked. Great flick
nikki2200 4 Posted February 26, 2013 I just watched Argo and was extremely underwhelmed. I really have never liked a Ben Affleck movie. But I felt like I did after watching J. Edgar. How could you take an interesting story and make a movie that is so focking boring out of it. If that was the best of the 2012 movies, I probably won't try to watch any of the others. OH! Except Django. That is a must see for me.
GettnHuge 2 Posted February 26, 2013 I just watched Argo and it's Arg-awesome. The directorial acumen of Affleck was also Affl-awesome. I don't believe Ive ever seen an Affleck movie that didn't touch me inside on my insides. If that was the best of 2012, then I need to catch all other nominations. Not really wanting to see Django, though. Racism is a total thumbsdown

Django - by far the most must see flick of 2012 -- Why QT doesn't make more movies Why DDL doesn't act in more movies

Herbivore 1,146 Posted September 11, 2013 Saw Argo last night, liked it, but agree with Nikki - I was underwhelmed. I think though while an amazing story, it is a very hard one to translate to a movie. A lot of potential tension, but nothing really happens to the people. Had a bit of a movie day yesterday as I was working from home and it was pouring out. Watched Goon and Drive. Enjoyed both quite a bit.
Hurricane Ditka 0 Posted September 11, 2013 2012 was a good year for movies... Django was by far the best I seen. Ted was outstanding. Got drug to see Life of Pi, Argo and Silver Linings Playbook and they were all worth a date night withered Mrs (34C).

Dude, I know she's getting a little older and all, but don't you think that's a little harsh?
