Use of the lawn chair in wiffleball

Recommended Posts

I've always assumed it was a common practice to use a regular lawn chair as a "catcher" while playing wiffleball, but apparently I'm way off. If the ball hits any part of the chair, it's a strike. If the ball lands in the chair, you're out.

Isn't that standard?

Edge of seat is a strike. Ball staying on seat isn't an out but a foul tip that hits chair w 2 strikes is a K

You don't need a lawn chair if I am hitting. I am like Ty Focking Cobb when playing wiffleball. :bandana:

I for one am strictly opposed to the use of the lawn chair - or any other outdoor furniture in Wiffleball.
