Murphys Law 0 Posted August 29, 2013 Used a late round pick on Ivory figuring someone has to carry the ball for the pathetic JETS. He is my RB4. Moreno and Christine Michaels are available in my league post-draft. Thinking of dropping the JET RB in favor of guys toting the rock for better teams. Thoughts?? Knowshon will be splitting with 2 other backs and CM won't see the field unless Lynch injures himself.

cnasty 5 Posted August 29, 2013 Also, based on http://www.fftoolbox.com/football/strength_of_schedule.cfm?type=e&sortby=RB it appears that NYJ has the #2 schedule for RBs. Of course, that's not saying much if they're playing from behind in every single game, but it's gotta count for something.
ValenciaCF 2 Posted August 29, 2013 Who else is on your roster to drop? Surely you have someone with less upside than Ivory who you can jettison into the free agent pool of future one hit wonders, "how the heck did no one draft him" guys, and permanently irrelevant rosterless fantasy players. I drafted Ivory in my 14 team league as my third running back and possible flex option. At the end of the day, he is pegged to be the starter without a tremendous amount of competition (although I will say Powell looked good at some points in the Giants game). I just read online today, "Bilal Powell struggling in passing game". If you're not dependant on Ivory's performance and his status on your roster is based on potential upside, you're in good shape. Ivory is wonderful talent which we have all seen during the 5 or 6 times the Saints decided to actually give him the ball over the past few years. I know the Jets are awful... But hey, talent is talent. He brings certain intangibles to the game that the Jets NEED in their lineup in order to have any sort of fire power. Stick with Ivory. He is worth the risk. Skinny_Bastard 159 Posted August 29, 2013 Ivory could be one of those guys in the middle of the draft where you go... Dang! How i missed that! No question, the dude is a talented runner.
5Year1 23 Posted August 31, 2013 Even though Powell may take more touches than we thought a few weeks ago, Ivory as a given is much better than betting on pure speculation on Moreno. The only reason to consider him is an RB5 or 6 to replace a dud you already drafted.

Thoughts?? ivory is the starter on a bad team .but he is the starter . moreno is third on the broncos rb depth chart and so is michaels on the hawks . LoOnAtIk 75 Posted September 1, 2013 I would keep Ivory until he has a string of big games or he gets hurt. If he has a few consecutive good games i would try to trade him because he WILL GET HURT. Look at his injury history, as fragile as they come and fumble issues if i'm not mistaken.
smashmouths@blf 33 Posted September 1, 2013 Yup agree with everyone else. Keep Ivory.
tanatastic 2,062 Posted September 1, 2013 One guy is a starter, the other is third string. In a pinch ivory can start for u and get 15 touches compared to knowshons likely 0-2 right now.
nobody 2,933 Posted September 1, 2013 I don't get the Moreno love. He hasn't taken a first team snap all presesson, so even if hillman and ball are as they have looked, Moreno is going to need at least a couple of games to unseat him. And all Christine Michael needs to do is pass up both Lynch and turbin to get carries. Might as well see if ivory does anything before you pick up two guys who aren't going to do Jack week
kujerry 9 Posted September 1, 2013 I took ivory in my draft late, but notice Powell is number 1 in depth chart
