thesitedoc 5 Posted October 29, 2013 This guy is typically hit or miss but wondering if the injuries to Cobb and Finley make him a legit #1/2 opposite of Jordy once he comes back and until Cobb gets back in the game.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted October 29, 2013 Legit WR2 with the upside of WR1 numbers pretty often. He will be the guy on the outside. Jordy and Boykin probably moving in and out of the slot at times (don't see Jones in the slot much IMO).
R8RMick 242 Posted October 29, 2013 I think that hit or miss routine he usually puts up will change without Cobb there, Boykin's targets have been solid the last two weeks in that role. Bigger question with Jones is his own health IMO.
JohnD. 22 Posted October 29, 2013 He comes back this week and I will play him with big expectations every week. Solid WR2 with WR1 upside.
HOKIEZ 34 Posted October 29, 2013 Harry dougs performance last two weeks is going to make a tough decision for my wr3. I might wait and see for one week with jones, unless he practices and there is positive news all week.
Stewburtx8 67 Posted October 29, 2013 He comes back this week and I will play him with big expectations every week. Solid WR2 with WR1 upside. Pretty optimistic to think he plays this week. He didn't practice AT ALL last week.

I don't know if he is hit or miss... His TD numbers were pretty gaudy last year and people expected a coming down to earth this year. So far, every game he has played, he has put up great numbers. When he gets healthy, he turns back into an automatic starter for most teams.
benglish88 2 Posted October 30, 2013 I'd be surprised to see "any" receiver not do good in this offense. It is made for multiple targets. I remember when Jones first got the nod not so long ago and he kind of took to it like Boykin (in other words, he was not quite ready just yet). But Boykin is learning and Jones is certainly a threat now.
krusi123 9 Posted October 31, 2013 Per Rotoworld - James Jones (knee) remained absent from Packers practice Thursday. It's a strong sign Jones will miss his third straight game when the Packers host the Bears for Monday Night Football. Jones will have to get in at least a limited session on Friday to have any real shot at playing. Owners should plan on another week of Jarrett Boykin starting opposite Jordy Nelson. The stats don't show it. When healthy, he's been solid the past 2 seasons. He's no more hit and miss than every WR outside of (Calvin Johnson & AJ Green).
