Bucs coach Greg Schiano acknowledged Friday Doug Martin will eventually need surgery on his torn shoulder labrum.

"Eventually, he'll need to get it repaired," said Schiano, while insisting Martin could still return this year. Why the Bucs in good faith would let Martin play through a torn labrum is beyond us, but it's obviously irresponsible. They haven't won a game all year. It's a situation where ownership needs to step in.

Most likely has most of his studs on the bench for byes and has to play bench players this week, that's the situation I'm in. So I have no one to drop.

Both are good candidates to hold for next season if you're in a keeper or dynasty league. In redraft its all about what have you done for me lately, and Martin hasn't done shiz... IDK if Tate is going to do much with those ailing ribs, but he's more likely to put up points than Martin is ROS.
