Fortunately, the Dems have a lot of useful idiot voters they can rely on to help win presidential races. That they don't turn out in midterm elections is also a good thing since that's when Michigan holds it's governor, attorney general, and Secretary of State elections and I vote Republican. So the voting patterns of the Dem clueless and half-interested is kind of a win-win as far as I'm concerned.
