cbfalcon 825 Posted August 21, 2015 I'll caddy for you. The TV coverage of our player/caddie banter would be legendary. You'd think we'd get no airtime as I put up a 92 and 97. But I'd have so many smartass comments about Tiger needing to bang chicks, Fowler's molester stache, and how Matsayama is Pearl Harboring this tournament, that they'd have no choice but to give us airtime.
KSB2424 3,148 Posted August 21, 2015 I do find it comical this is the 1st time Tiger is playing here in 19 years. Could they have said, thanks but no thanks? Record crowds, more media attention. Why would any tournament say no to Tiger?
edjr 6,602 Posted August 21, 2015 Record crowds, more media attention. Why would any tournament say no to Tiger? he has NEVER played there. He's always been too good apparently. Fock him. He NEEDS this tourney to try and qualify for the playoffs. It would have been awesome if they said GFY
Cruzer 1,995 Posted August 21, 2015 I do find it comical this is the 1st time Tiger is playing here in 19 years. Could they have said, thanks but no thanks? They never would, but it would be so great if they did. I get these guys are independent contractors and I get the only people they are legally obligated to please are their title sponsors.... But never playing this event is sorry ass bullshiat. I think every golfer should pay homage to golf fans all over, not just in the cities of their sponsors. This tournament is a long standing pillar of the tour, one Sam Snead made legendary. The golf fans there spend money with their sponsors, the very sponsors who pay the players, just as much as they do in any other city... A commitment to play every so often is not a lot to ask - to never show up in your 19 year career is pitiful.

It would have been awesome if they said GFY Except for the fact that they can't. He's exempt to play and he committed to the tourney They also printed out an extra 49,000 extra tickets which I'm sure they'll sell all of if he remains in contention. My god, he's such a horrible person!!

KSB2424 3,148 Posted August 21, 2015 The Golf Predictor Machine (GPM) has weighed in. I'll give the cliff notes version here as its exact analysis may be to technical for you guys. To sum it up. Tiger Woods made a couple long putts and a chip in yesterday, however he also missed a lot of fairways (but not by much). Therefore it predicts a somewhat same outcome as Thursday and has set the over/under at 66.

The fairways thing doesn't matter all that much cuz unless he hits it off the map there's no rough at the place. I think he doesn't quite hit it as well as yesterday and misses a couple more putts. For years I tried to find something. Never could. Cheated on his wife and kid. Hundreds of times. He swears and has tantrums like a bipolar teenager. He's surly. When he was good, he'd ignore kids who wanted his autograph, while Michelson would spend hours signing away. He's just a dooshbag. What do you like about him? You can't stop the ball on the greens from the rough (or its much more difficult), you get lots of 'fliers' etc. Unlike other courses you don't have to hack it out, but you are penalized. A lot of guys hitting out of the rough hit the middle of the green but have zero spin (on fast greens) and it rolls off the back. Happens constantly at Sedgefield. KSB2424 3,148 Posted August 21, 2015 Almost an Ace at #12. Rolls right beside the cup, still has a couple feet back for birdie. Tiger isn't putting quite as well today (scoring), but he has complete control of the golf ball.
