For a short period of time. Roids cut careers short

I agree 100% on both accounts.

from what, 2000 through 2006 the dude was the most dominant player in any sport ever (sans Federer)

I still don't weigh Rog's and Tiger's accomplishments the same... Yea I know what the tennis people say - but fact of the matter is Rog played 1 actual match that mattered each event, maybe 2 if his semifinal was somewhat tough. His first few matches were layups.... Tiger had 70 people in the field, each time out.. Where he's not just facing 1 top ranked guy, he's facing all of them every time out.... Rog only had to face them once, maybe - if they advanced.

I don't think it had anything to do with his caddy. Read earlier that they both agreed that he was gonna hit a draw on #12 but Speef got over the ball, freaked out and decided to hit a fade. Bad decision, bad shot.

I don't want to get into this whole thing again (lol).

I will say something against Roger and for Tiger.

Plenty of people have dominated Tennis (not quite like Rog, but not far off)

No one has ever come close to doing what Tiger did

I had no formal predictions but I did get a lot right. Aside from Spieth contending but hey, he choked it away.

I did mention numerous times Lee Westwood ls name and he was right there Sunday afternoon.

I said Dains last 4 picks were blah and 3/4 missed the cut. I said his best pick was Willett and a possible feel good newborn son story could happen.

Also recall saying I wouldn't be surprised to see dechambeau making noise at some point thursday and Friday and he was right there until late friday.

Jack had at least 3 top 10's in majors 12 years in a row and was top 10 in 31 out of 33 straight majors.

Not bad.

Something Jack did 12 years in a row, Woods has done 8 total years in his career :dunno:

Good call by whoever mentioned Willett earlier in the thread, forgot who that was.

On a sad note, and hopefully I'm wrong, Arnie looked terrible could be his last Masters.

he's 86 and has lived a better life than all of us X 1000

Fock, I never even saw him play.

No love.

Now if Tiger dies before I do, I will cry for days

If Tiger died 5 years ago and Arnie lives for another 10 years I would still be 100% more heart broken when Arnie dies. Tiger's an azz

It has been said, each professional golfer owes $.10 of every dollar earned on the tour to Arnie. I personally think $.03 of Arnie's take should go to Walter Hagen, but that's another discussion.

Arnie isn't just the most revered name in golf, he's arguably the most revered name in sports... His passing, which appears to be near, is going to be a sad day for me.
