Supremes Overturn Texas Abortion Limits

Recommended Posts

Birth control implies that the woman is trying to avoid pregnancy. And I really doubt many women are opting to pay a few hundred dollars to undergo an abortion because it's more convenient than using a rubber.

birth control implies that they didn't use proper precautions in the 1st place, and they are using abortion as the final means to prevent a pregnancy

Birth control is if you take precautions. That is the actual implication.

I would bet the actual number that say, screw precautions, I'll just get an abortion, its a low one.

Using it as a final means to avoid pregnancy does not equal birth control.

They are opposed to the use of condoms, correct?

There has been discussion about changing that to prevent disease, Ezeka for one. I hardly think it woukd warrant an apology. Treating people harshly, like with gay people is one thing. I don't think condom use rises to the level of mistreating others. I feel you are reaching.

Nobody is going through an abortion because it's easier than using a rubber.

I could be but were I to take the time and google which countries are majority Catholic and which of those are third world and the average age in each it might not be such a reach.

There have been over 58 Million abortions in the USA since Roe v Wade.

The American people have abandoned the morals and values they once had, they have traded spirituality for sensuality, holiness for profanity, and righteousness for self-interest and they are offering their unborn children up as sacrifices. What was once thought of as immoral is now celebrated as sacred.

Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, in a series of Tweets, hailed the decision as "a victory for women" -- but said there's more work to be done.

So you think we'd be better off with 58 million more people here?

Is that how you justify killing unborn babies? Retread my previous post, they are talking about you.

Your either / or scenario is pathetic. Like abortion is the only option. Once again retread

let me rephrase it. Think we'd be better off with 58 million more UNWANTED, UNLOVED citizens?

Why do you think abortion is the only option?

The vast majority are minorities too. We are saving a lot of money by aborting these babies. Prisons aint cheap.

Exactly. And we don't have enough jobs for the citizens we currently have. Let's add 58 more million to the mix.

Having just spent a year in a country the same geographic size as the US with about five times as many people, I am not just pro choice, I'm pro abortion.

I would vote for 24 hour, free, abortion clinics all over America.

Focking Republicans. Let's do away with welfare... let's tout a corporations right to send jobs overseas... let's laud corporations for automating and doing away with even more jobs... but you must have the babies. Guess they figure they need soldiers for their focking wars.

It's going to be interesting to see the pro choice arguments when this becomes a thing. Not the drowning in the river part but the abortion based on the childs sex.

Would never happen. We don't have the same sort of cultural bias against girls in America. Not to mention the fact, the only reason it happened here in China is because of the one child policy.

You see, traditional Confucian belief holds that if there is not a male heir to the family, the spirits of the entire family, going all the way back, cannot be at rest, and will wander the world forever.

So then the one child policy says you can only have one kid... and your first is a girl. A lot of ignorant focks did what you knew they would do.

That policy has recently been repealed btw.

That is one thing I've never figured out here. You read all these articles in the western media about the massive number of men that will never find wives, because there are more men than women. Yet everywhere you go, all you see is attractive women desperate to find husbands. They even have a name for women over 28 that are unmarried... left behind women. I know some stone cold hotties that are about 28 and desperate to get married.

I am told that in the cities, there are way too many women, because they come here to get office jobs or retail jobs. In the country, it is supposedly a sausage fest, as they all stay there for agricultural and industrial jobs. But I spend very little time in the country, so I couldn't say. I just hang in the city where all the girls are.

Your forgot to be fake libertarian again and instead want to government to legislate morals and holiness and spirituality.

And she is right in this instance.

Maybe not, but I can imagine the more advanced we get with prenatal testing there might be many factors that could tempt a parent to abort and try again. Since there is no moral argument, it's just a fetus and after all it is a woman's body and it is her choice. Maybe she doesn't want a red headed boy with freckles, or maybe there is very good chance her kid will be obese and develop diabetes. Suck it out and let's try that one again. Shoot, maybe even part the little bastard out and sell him piece by piece. Do we have laws in place that would prevent this? I doubt it. Do the women need to explain WHY they don't want the baby? I've never killed a kid so I am just thinking out loud here, I honestly don't know the rules.
