Brandon Marshall...is he even worth rostering going forward?

Recommended Posts

He hasn't done anything in over a month (maybe longer), and I'm not sure it matters who is under center for the jets. It seems crazy that I'm considering dropping him (our trade deadline has come and gone), but I just don't see the value.

It's pretty bad when I'm considering it for people like: Steve Smith, Robert Woods, Tyreek Hill, Devante Parker etc.

Am I over-reacting? Between him and Landry, my once strong #3 WR's have been costing me points lately.

I don't see how you can play him at this time.

To many issues with the Qb postion.

I am lucky enough to replace him with Diggs while he sits on the bench. I did drop Maclin two weeks ago so my depth took a hit and I hope Marshall pulls through..

If you can't start him and you can't trade then he is droppable. I did and it feels so much nicer not having to drag him around on my roster anymore thinking of what it was supposed to be vs what it actually is.

No better options on the wire. Talent is still there. Hopefully Fitz returns with a sprinkle of magic left in the bottle.

You'd hate to drop him outright, someone picks him up, then he decides to explode against your team.

Yeah I would agree.

I would have a hard time just dropping him

But sometimes it has to be done based on need.

Eric Decker goes down and the team collapses. Interesting.

He's due back sometime isn't he?

If so then Marshall would probably get a boost.

At this point he's not in my line up but he's on the bench not waivers. He's in the long list of guys at WR you can take a gamble with.

We all know the talent is there. If he gets a good match up he can explode. I would bet he still has at least one big game left in him this season.

Decker is not coming back this season...

I ended up hanging on to Marshall through this week, and now that I've lost AJ Green for the year I'll likely have to roll him out there in week 12. Fitzpatrick is starting, but I don't know if that is even good or bad anymore. There used to be a time when he would just force it Marshall's way, but that hasn't been the case lately.

From my original post, Woods got hurt this week, I picked up Hill and played him but he didn't do anything, Smith got picked up, leaving Parker out there still. The list keeps getting smaller, and my team just keeps getting injured (Prosise, McCoy, Z. Miller, Ingram this week alone). You guys ready for the Tyler Boyd phenomenon?
