He described himself as an informal advisor to the Kremlin for a G-20 energy summit. No telling if he actually was or what he did, which, by the way, was at a time when there were not the current hostilities with Russia. Page was in contact with FBI since 2013. His communications with these Russians are reputed to be part of the case against these guys. Contrary to your unfounded implication, Page wasn't accused of wrongdoing. Dont know. They stated information about it showing it wasnt political...according to Schiff who actually voted the application vs making baseless claims.

Is it legally required to say that the material may have been funded by a candidate who paid a law firm who paid a company who paid a credible investigator. Do you have something to cite that this was legally required information?

Ok that's fair. Page presents a problem for Trump supporters and critics alike. For Trump supporters he's obviously a lynchpin to Trump's claim his campaign was eavesdropped on, but he's such a weasel that they have to explain how he got hired in the first place, distance him from the campaign, and also accept that the FISA order wasn't granted until after he left the campaign. For Trump critics yes he seems like a connection to SVR/FSB but again the fact that he's such a flake that it seems hard to imagine him doing anything seriously nefarious It should be a wash, but Nunes has decided to make him the tip of the spear in vindicating Trump, which again seems like a really poor choice.
