WhiteWonder 2,172 Posted June 12, 2018 i considered finau when i took casey and walker when i took grillo. An i wanted the whole time... Dechamblow was also considered in round 2 over Reed. So time will tell. whatever list of rankings i was looking at had guys like Moore (highly ranked) and Kevin Na listed and i saw no mention of them not being in the field. but again, didn't do any prep besides pull up someone elses list and just ignore guys i had no interest in. I didn't like the fact he's rather poor in scoring avg. and GIRs. He's also a bit of a small guy - this course is going to play big, some carries are over 250 yards - might be too much for him. While he's the world number one and this course fits his game, nobody has ever won the US Open while winning the week before. Sergio hasn't made cut in two months it seems. Phil is all over the place with his driver, not good. Spieth hasn't been playing well.......... I really like Rory, Tiger, Fleetwood & Koepka this week. Thinking I should have went Rose over Rory... but i've taken rose a half dozen times in rd 1 in edex. It felt like the powers that be saw it as a coinflip, even if Rose is probably playing the most consistent all around golf in the world right now... My high first round picks in Edex have been awful DJ (#1 overall pick - falls down steps and WD's) Spieth (played like hot garbage - although he was #5 overall i believe) Rory? Taking customers our so it took a little bit to get settled in, back to back 88s on a couple of South Bend city courses.
