Bruce Willis roast

Recommended Posts

Clicked in back and forth. Don't think I missed too much. Don't think you missed much.

I think they might have had one actual comedian. Nikki Glaser. She's at least fun to look at.

I had heard that Willis was one of the top a holes that people don't want to work with in Hollywood. This roast would seem to confirm that.

Some of the digs were way too close to home. And not at all funny.

Basically, this seems to be where your agent calls if you need to give your image a bit of surgery. Remember when Justin Bieber was on the end of the stick? Shortly thereafter he's being roasted.

They had to dust off and rehydrate Cybill Shepherd and others like her. Like I said, don't think any of us missed much.

It had it's moments, but some of the better burns were on the other roasters.

I really enjoyed Ed Norton. Thought he did a great job. Watch him and then feel free to turn it.

Did Anthony Jeselnik or Jeff Ross perform? That might make it worth checking out

He's kind of conservative and I would guess he doesn't sugar coat things for those snowflakes.

Also, you do realize what a roast is for, right?

Nikki Glaser, Ed Norton and Jeff Ross were pretty good. Nobody else had any business being on the dais.

This had to be deliberate. They had Nikki Glaser positioned such that there must have been a hundred great shots of her legs in various states of crossing and uncrossing.

so seriously, there were only two comedians right?

I mean, we all know that all the other jokes are written by writers. Wouldn't be surprised if Jeff Ross wrote half of those as well.

3 if you include Kevin Pollack. Some guy lil somethin or other wrote his own material but there wasn't a joke to be heard.

Everybody else read from the teleprompter. And nothing says laugh out loud funny like non-comedians reading somebody else's jokes from a teleprompter for the first time. Makes for great timing and delivery.

Norton was pretty good but it wasn't your typical "roast style" set.

The older Italian guy was funny. :dunno:

I forgot. Dom Irrera was there too. So 4 comedians.
