Geek Bakers - Looking for a good Chocolate Cake Recipe

Recommended Posts

The key to a really great cake is to Brown the flour first. Simply take your flourr and spread it as thin as possible on a baking sheet. Then stick it under a high heat broiler. Just a few minutes will do. It will bring out that nut taste that you get from really great grains. And completely Cook out the gross raw flour taste.

Note, do not confuse this with Browning the flower. Which is a whole nother thing. It's like a Cleveland steamer, but you drop a deuce on a woman's lady tulip.

When I make asian or mexican, there is a good chance cilantro will be used (and it still depends what i am making). not much else in my cooking.
