Wife and I enjoy NAPA. When we go, we always flew into SFO. And we'd plan at least a day there as part of the trip. Now, we get to the airport and get the fock out of that city as fast a we can. purdygood 343 Posted September 3, 2024 I am PLEASE begging people, stop moving to the Bay Area. The news says it's a war zone but somehow the price of housing keeps going up because more people want to move here than want to leave. (It's been that way for 40+ years) I have my house, but I want to buy a second one this year.
Sean Mooney 1,970 Posted September 3, 2024 Hey earlier this year people from San Francisco went to Nevada to poop on a football field in front of 124 million people.

But everything changed when the pandemic hit. Many San Francisco tech workers moved further out to cheaper cities, while many outside of the city decided against relocating there. "We started seeing the caller cities—smaller cities which are close enough to San Francisco—attract more people," Chen said. "These cities are more affordable, they have lower cost of living, they have equally nice weather, they have a larger lot, bigger houses, newer houses, nice neighborhoods, good school districts, safer, and are easier to commute."
