Brady just hit Ben Watson in the face with a pass.  Never even put his hands up.

Number 2p for the Jets trying to tackle Edelman or giving him a love tap.  Fix is in boys.

That's 3 third down conversions by the pats on one drive.  Teams should think about covering those shallow crossing routes on 3rd down.

3rd and goal, now.  Let's observe.

I watched Darnold at USC a ton.  This is a very typical arc for him.  S

Get injured.  Come back and look like a world beater.  Than when the chips are down and people mistakenly start accumulating some hope, play absolutely terrible.

Terrible call on that block in the back on the James White TD.  I don't care what that talking head in the booth says.  You know the league stepped in and told ESPN they need to back the refs after Booger roasted the hands to face calls against Detroit.

I wonder if Adam Gase's game plan for this game was, "Okay.  If you're first read isn't there, I want you to panic, and whatever you do make sure you never step up in the pocket.  Always roll out into the path of the edge rushers," because I'll be damned if he isn't executing it perfectly.

That's utter bullshìt.  His momentum obviously carried him into the endzone.   That rule is as old as time.

I remember watching a game about 15 years ago where a defender caught an interception or recovered a fumble at the five yard line and some how got turned around and ran into his own endzone.  They somehow came up with momentum for THAT play.

Now that Khalil is out, I wonder if the Jets will be able to block someone.

I dropped the NE defense before week 1.

1. I dropped them because I didn’t want to face the mighty Steeler offense.

2. It might have been a good idea to look at week one before the draft.

I not only didn't drop the Pats in week 1, I literally drafted them in every single league that starts a D. Thank you Me for at least not fudging this one up.

Darnold... Shaking my freaking head.

There's 2 minutes left in the half and you're on the +30 yard line.  You don't need to rush a play for the 1 yard gain.  There is 0 chance you're touching the ball again this half.

Just let the 2 minute warning, and try to score running out the half.

And now Brady has 1:40 left to score the ball before the half.

And it gives the Pats time to block this fg

These coaches!!!  You don't need to play cloud coverage if you overload blitz.  They won't have enough time to run anything but a 10 yard route.

Unless they pick up the blitz.

They only have so many blockers with 4 players running routes.

I just became a Pats fan.  Threw a little scratch on Pats -.5 for the 2nd half counting on their tendency to never let up and the defense taking pride in shutting teams out.

I'm a little afraid of that "seeing ghosts" line getting broadcast getting back to him, and him getting his shìt together out of pride.

The Genesis half time show might be the best part of this game.

That should've been a delay of game on that 3rd pick by Darnold.
