What I think Trump should do...

Trump didn’t seem too concerned with how to pay for his tax cuts for the rich :dunno:

But now that it’s curing cancer and saving the planet, yeah I can definitely see why you want to count pennies with that.

Yes because the unemployed can afford it.

Debate!

Biden: I'm going to cure cancer and end global warming.

Trump: How are you going to pay for that?

Biden: I'm going to raise taxes on all the unemployed people.

More like:

Trump: Since Biden is the candidate let's get these debates going!

DNC: Well.....technically he isn't the nominee yet because he doesn't have the delegates.

Trump: So Biden isn't the candidate!

Biden: Yes I am!

DNC: Well kind of, but not yet.

Biden: You said I was.

FOX: Is Biden the candidate or not? And if he's not, who is?

DNC: We we still have outstanding delegates.

MSMedia:  Yes!  There are still outstanding delegates!

Bernie:  Including mine, which I still have! Remember, I never left the race!

Trump: So Biden is definitely NOT the candidate!  And Bernie still has his delegates!  So it's Bernie!

DNC: well...

It's that easy.

I’m not rich. I got a tax break. And the rich did lose property tax write offs over 10k. You forget about that part?

More than usual. And did you complain when Obama extended the Bush tax cuts?

THATS different, a Democrat president did that, so its moral and good....if a Republican does it somehow its wrong....no it does not make sense, but logic is not a liberal trait

Well see, RLLD, that’s where you’re way off as usual.

See, *I* am not the one that complains about the deficit. That’s you lot.

So did I complain when Obama extended tax cuts? Don’t think I did. As I recall they were the provisions that were aimed primarily at the middle class and poor, so I was likely in favor of it.

But it’s irrelevant, because again I’m not the hypocrite complaining about the deficit while praising tax cuts for the Uber wealthy.

Also I could point out the yearly deficit came down dramatically under Obama, just as Bill Clinton before him actually created a surplus. But that’s somewhat beside the immediate point.

We can start a thread on the deficit if that is your intention, and perhaps even debate the moral factors associated with not helping people.

Your statement was not about the deficit " You got a pittance so you’d feel included. Guess it worked"

You are attempting to assert that we are sheep being placated by some scrap of money. That is rather short-sighted.  Many people live paycheck to paycheck, others just need a little help.  The president is being a leader and making a hard decision, to sacrifice his deeply-held belief in controlling cost because people need help, to eat, to pay rent....

Simply reducing every action of his to evil because you dont like him is immature.

Deeply held belief to control costs? The man was running trillion dollar deficits while the economy was humming. 😂

Oversimplification of his economic plan might scratch an itch for you, but macroeconomics are not simply like checking a box, and time and again you have shown a lack of understanding of  even simple economics, so not sure your opinion on this is something we should consider tangible.

Trump has increased the deficit every year he’s been in office. Is that what someone who cares about cost control does?

Yeah probably best to pivot. You were dead to rights

So in your opinion, the only suitable outcome for a long term strategy is immediate results?  Yes, you are a Democrat.....its that exact short-sighted behaviors that create problems, why inner cities dominated by Democrats continue to struggle....the accentuation of immediate results over a long-term strategy.

Projection......I called you out on what you did, so you pretend I did it....classic liberal tactic, you know exactly what you were doing, and when caught the immaturity continues...

You’re gonna have to pivot away from this one too. Don’t get dizzy :(

If cost containment is the goal, increasing the deficit every year does seem a little counter intuitive.

It’s like a circular thing, where eventually you explode the deficit so much that it comes back around and actually ends up a surplus.

Feeble minds like yours and mine can barely even conceive of it — thank god we’ve  got real thinkers like RLLD here

I am not pivoting anywhere, long term financial success is a mix of factors, and the utopian view of Democrats in how to achieve it is an abject failure, in every place Democrats dominate, no thank you...

I didn’t exactly, but I’m capable of understanding that if I get a tiny little tax cut while some billionaire who doesn’t even need it gets a disproportionately huge break, my slice of the overall tax burden has actually increased. Most people can’t seem to comprehend that and therein lies the scam.

Right, do what ever seems to feel best now, with no regard to the outcomes, I know Democrats love that idea, and it continues to fail.

Economics really arent your thing....

Must not be. I am definitely confused about how deficits under Obungler were a bad thing according to Trump, but deficits under Trump are evidence of his commitment to cost containment.

I don’t have a degree in Quantum Economics from Trump University. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Deficits have increased under Trump. They will increase more under Biden. If you’re concerned about the deficit, the choice is clear. If you’re trolling, carry on.
