The white race has been exceptional throughout history. If the Romans were blacks I would say the same about them. Probably why that Black Panther movie did so well. Being able to see Blacks as an exceptional race even if it was fiction has to be pretty cool for a black person. It really should have been the Chinese but they shutdown their country completely. They invented the compass, gunpowder, silk, paper. Even had the largest naval fleet in the world but they locked up for some reason.

They certainly saw no value in exploring that's for sure. I'm not a Chinese expert but the government took control of inventions and made them state secrets like making paper. At that point there was no value in inventing something since the government would just take it IMO so they stagnated. Now they just steal so that took care of that problem. 

It really wasn't until Nixon opened up trade with them and they dredged their rivers of junk boats and garbage to open shipping lanes. If not for that they would still be jacked up. They still are in many ways but they are resourceful and ruthless...until their leader dies like most communist countries.
