If they just play the game as scheduled, the Browns might be missing a slew of key players, which is unfair to the Browns. 2. The door is still open to add a week 18, which at this point would be strictly Browns-Steelers. That would be unfair to the rest of the NFL as the Steelers basically get 2 weeks off. 3. They could cancel the game, but that would pretty much guarantee the Browns miss the playoffs. 4.
