Cam has emerged and jumped 2 tiers higher. Maybe it is Fitz time. He is 50 to 1. Entering his prime. I do like that as well. But the numbers have been picked apart up top. Utilit99 4,099 Posted February 14, 2022 8 minutes ago, Fireballer said: Who am I to question your method, but is there something that you making you do more O/U instead of spreads? I go 100% off of Greg's lines vs. my book's lines. Most of the spreads he has are very similar to my book's spreads. When they are close, and he picks something within three points of the book's spread, I figure if he is within 3 points of the book's spread, it all comes down to one shot in a game if both the book and him are correct. I take his lines as literal because I have zero other knowledge on it. I'm betting on his exact numbers in the sheet. I find the higher variances are on the game totals. Something like 4-5+ in some cases. At least that takes it out of the one shot variance. I'm trying mostly to nickel and dime the book really. If I win $6 bucks like I did the other day, I'm fine with it. Fock if I know if it will continue to work.

Utilit99 4,099 Posted February 14, 2022 Gambling stresses me out. It's like going to a casino. I actually haven't gone in a long time even though I have had a bit of success that last few times I went. I always play roulette when I go. Once I drank a bunch of beers and won about $1300 in 2 hours of play, and wasn't at peace until I got home and slept off the nervousness. If I had $10 million in the bank I would be nervous taking $200 in the casino (which has always been my cap). I don't get the people in the casinos who keep going back to the cash machine. My take is, I'm just hoping to get $200 worth of fun out of it. Funny how I won't blink at spending $100 at a liquor store. Or a $150 on a dinner out. Strange. I probably won't give up gambling though unless something extreme comes or I just want to take a break for a while. Which I often do naturally anyway. I wouldn't normally be gambling now as I don't like basketball. But so far this has been a kinda fun experiment. So I'll keep going until I start losing in chucks or until the end of this season. We'll see what happens during baseball season but I've been out of touch with that as well.

I have also not been to a casino in a while. Pre covid I guess and not because I’m afraid to go back due to covid, just Havnt had the urge. i used to sit down with $100 at the blackjack table and another $100 in my pocket in case the hands were bad and I lost my initial stake fast. I’d look for $5 or $10 minimum tables even though if I’m winning I have no issue making a $50 bet. I just don’t like being forced to bet $25 or something. I’m guilty of going back to the ATM and I think I once lost $700. Felt like shiit but reasoned that I usually win $100-300 ish so whatever. online like DK casino is bad for me. I try to stay disciplined and I’ve pulled out $4-500/ month but also had some bad times where I chase losses and it snowballs. Plus it feels so obviously rigged. I’ve stopped playing since they stopped offering nice promotions like the used to. the nervousness comes from the fact that even though you’re getting entertainment, we all hate the idea of giving money away to the house. If you play for an hour and lose your $200 stake, it’s hard to justify it by saying you paid for entertainment because chances are you’re pissed your luck was so bad and the money only lasted an hour. When you spend $100 at the liquor store, you’ve already decided you’re getting your moneys worth.

When you spend $100 at the liquor store, you’ve already decided you’re getting your moneys worth. Losing your money that quick SUCKS more than anything. That happened to me once. $200 gone in like 30 minutes. Since then, If I start losing $60-70 in like 20 minutes, I go drink and then walk around playing a few buck here and there and then drink some more. I remember back in Illinois years ago when you had to be on a boat to gamble. So then they would leave the dock (I have no idea how far they actually went, probably 50 feet away), and you could not get off for 2 hours. That was evil even though I never fell for it and went to the cash machine if I lost my money except for maybe once if I remember correctly. And I got decent at not chasing losses in the sportsbook. Took a little while to master that skill. You got to take advantage of your wins. And take out your initial investment as soon as you can.
