Who ruins my Bryson Hovland Brooks “make the cut” parlay?

Based on recent from I would go Brooks. He does seem to play well at the tracks that are tougher though.

I have 2. I put 50 bucks down on both. Both are top 5 in total putting and the word is the heat is making the greens play fast.

Peter Malnati +50k

Denny McCarthy +15000

I like them all to make the cut.  But tough cut at the US Open.

I like  the idea of this.  I may also look at cantlay and speef to miss.

I’ve seen much worse reasoning for betting long shots… I’m in.

I like Denny and will likely join you here. He is top 10 on tour in scrambling this year.

Instead of doing outrights since schef is schef i threw a few first round leaders.

Denny, perez, and cam davis.

Of course my lone outright is Zal.  Cant quit him.

Anyone look at Aberg low debutant?  Was +150.  Last I checked +140.  Its Hoj and a bunch of no names.

That would be the other name at least haha

Seems like a suckers bet to go Aberg there.  Some random will do ok.   If Aberg played well and top 20s he probably has it.  Mu reasoning is it seems like he could get it even in missing the cut if things fall a certain way.

I want to add christiaan bezuidenhout at +12000 he has been playing well lately. 12th in total shots gained, 30th in shots gained in approach to the green, 2nd in putting avg, 3rd in putts per round, 2nd in 1 putt percentage, 3rd in par 4s which pinehurst #2 has a lot of par 4s and 9th in proximity to the green. A lot of his stats scream good putting which is what will win this https://www.pgatour.com/player/45522/christiaan-bezuidenhout/stats

See link below. Joe Ryan’s strikeouts-O 7.5 is around -125.  I laddered all the way to 12 on Caesar’s. Interestingly, Caesar’s lets you SGP his strikeouts. For example, 12 strikeouts is +650, but a parlay of 9, 10, 11, 12 is +850.

I looked at it but he has had one 12k game in his entire career.

Derrick Henry odds for player of the year started out at +7000k then dropped to +6500 then down to +5000 and just recently dropped again to +4000 on betmgm (3300 on ceasers, 4000 on fanduel and +5k on draftkings) Just saying.

Yeah FD is a no go on that.  He’s had 12 SO once this season, so I ran it 7-12 individually, and then parlaying just 11 and 12 got me to +850.  I only put .25 unit on 12.  I’m guessing he gets 10

This shat reminds me of two things…

1). 90% of the bets I post end up sh!tting the bed.  This is the first I’ve posted in a while, and here we are.
2). These “big games” end up flopping way too much.  It reminds me of Peyton Manning and the undefeated Broncos hosting the winless Jags in 2013.  He had eclipsed 300 yds in his first 5 games, and had gone over 400 in two of them. Everyone bet the farm on over 300, and he went for 295.

Hey, you guys to do this a little bit more can anybody explain what round robin betting is like I am a complete idiot?

And  you know how big of an idiot I am so that should tell you how much you have to break it down

Teams

B

C
D

E

a round robin with do a parlay with all combinations using these teams.

A+B, A+C, A+D, A+E

B+C, B+D

and so on

Where i get confused is if like I go to FanDuel and I just randomly pick for money lines let’s say and then I hit the round Robin tab.

then these show up to bet on

2x6 wagers

3x4 wagers

4 leg parlay

I don’t understand what those mean

2x6 means all combination of 2 leg parlays.

3x4 means all combinations of 3 leg parlays

OK, so strategy wise let’s say you were going to do a four leg round robin.

Let’s just use $10 as an example. You could put five bucks on the parlay and then say even out the rest in the 3x4?

or whats a good separation of a unit or two on these?

I feel like I miss parleys by one all the freaking time

I only do these with Wong teasers and input them all manually. If you put $10 on a 3x4, it is 4 bets of $10 each on

ABC

ABD

ACD

BCD

So for easy numbers…$20 on a 5 leg you could do

$10 on 5 leg parlay and then $2 on each round robin version? Or would you break that up differently? Not even do the 5 leg parlay?

Outside of wongs, I don’t play teasers. If you want $2 on each leg put $2 in the bet box. $20 on a 3x4 is an $80 bet.
