I’ll take a voided bet over a loss. Almost feels like a win considering how it was going.

Trying to find these tennis matches on TV is a pain in the d1ck. I've searched all over ESPN+ and no mention of Djokovic match.

It intrigued me enough to place a few wagers on it.

We are bored waiting to bet on football soon, so I get ya. I do horses here and there and not much I'm interested in betting on since NBA was done and made so money on that. This time of year sucks for sports betting a bit.

I'll start working on it. I was headed for 8/10 last week until that horrible stoppage in the main.

Ige-215, Pittbull came in with huge hype for first UFC fight and flopped.

Holland -600

I think they use modified stableford? and its +2 for a birdie, +5 for eagle and only -1 for bogey? I'm asking because I have not watched it in years. I think it rewards uneven play, aggressive play, high risk high reward etc because bogey is not as penal as birdie is helpful and eagle hunting can shoot you up the standings.  I can see how that would be exciting as a one off but on a week to week basis the guy who doesn't make as many birdies but avoids bogeys should be just as able to win as the guy who puts up 9 circles on his card with 6 squares.

I meant to post this in the EdEx thread. The Open always means I start drinking early and I somehow posted here

Was a good card until the last 3 or 4 fights.  Maybe I'll stick to the Prelims.  Calling the biggest dog on the card to win was pretty sweet.

Last two Sundays I’ve had a 4-5 leg MLB parlay with the last leg being Sunday night baseball. Both times it’s been alive heading into that game and I’ve been able to hedge nicely with FDs Sunday night baseball 30% profit boost.

last week I was able to cash out the parlay for 50% payout and win the hedge bet. (It was a close game heading into the bottom of the 9th. This week I’m sitting back cheering for the Tigers to finish the parlay but don’t really care who wins, it’s all profit now.

My ###### sportsbook is having an NFL promotion: bet $50 on the Super Bowl winner, receive a $10 free bet for each regular season game that team wins.  I'm considering doing it.  I will get the SB winner wrong, and I will lose most, if not all, of the free bets, but if my team could win 11 or 12 games, it would be hard not to make back the $50. 🤔

It seems the Bills are currently the favorite to win the SB and to win the most games, but I'm thinking of going with the Ravens.

What team would you take? 🧐

FanDuel did this in 2023/24. I took SF. iirc it was a $5 free bet for every win up to 10 wins so I got my max free bets that I used throughout the season and then I cashed out the SB winner bet prior to the NFC title game 😅.  A win was a win but I was slightly annoyed while watching the SB until the end 😆

It's a little different if there is no cap on how many free bets you can win but I just went with a team I expected to win 10+ games in the NFC because I thought it was the weaker conference. I kind of always planned to cash out once the playoffs began. I was just picking my spot.

This year it would be hard for me not to go with Philly for a promo like that.   If you don't plan to cash the bet out during the playoffs and want to ride with nice odds, I love Cincy at +2200 or whatever they are at currently.

Good thought - I scoured the terms and conditions and there's no mention of a wins maximum.  If I do take the Ravens, I would probably cash out if they make the playoffs (if they even offer that) since they always choke.  I have to hear about them nonstop around here, I guess I could at least root for them. :dunno: Eagles are a good choice too, though. 🤔

I think it would be self explanatory that cashing out would void you from winning any additional free bets if you cash out during the reg season. Not sure why anyone would. I guess you could also look and see if there are any terms that keep you from cashing out the wager at any point. I guess if it's a real sketchy book they could just never offer cash out amounts on all those promo wagers.

When I had SanFran on FD, I never looked to see if cashing out was an option prior to placing the promo bet, I just remember in like week 9 or 10 looking and seeing cash out was available. So I just waited until they already had 10 wins and I think at that point I could have cashed out for even money but obviously they were going to make the playoffs.

You should take the Bengals.

There are eight teams favored ahead of them, but what the heck.  As long as they win 10 games, maybe I can win my $50 back.

Of course I'll wait until September to place it in case there are any major preseason injuries.

I live 35 minutes north of Cincy, that is a homer bet and nothing else. We know the offense is Super Bowl caliber, and the defense can’t get any worse, right?
