A Democratic strategist in VA. stated that the there is a clear distinction now that the Democratic policies (they have none) have moved to the forefront of voters minds and campaigning on anti Trump is a non starter. The problem being that people are actively living a lesser quality of life today, and selling them that their life is better today does not work. It is recent enough for people to remember that under Trump the world was a better place, and the tangible downturn is evident...its right in their face every day.
