All bronze and catastrophic plans in the ACA marketplace qualify for HSA contributions.

The HSA contribution limit increases didn't make it in the final version.

Goldman Sachs' stock traders posted the largest revenue haul in Wall St history, as volatility sparked by the Trump admin’s trade war spurred a 2nd straight record quarter for the unit.

GOOGs close to my exit number.  Every time they're up 30% I sell 25%.

It's always good to have a strategy and stick to it. I might consider taking some off the table as well.

I'm mostly out of individual stocks, but I keep a certain amount of AMZN and GOOG for nostalgia because of the gamble I made on them over a decade ago that was a signifucant part of reaching financial independence.  So I trim to get back to that number, and occasionally I'll buy back in like I did during the tariff hysteria. I already took AMZN profits, GOOGs turn.

Easy Peasy.

Liking the sound of this better than 6 months ago when ChatGPT and the like were imminent threats.

To the moon…but I’ll happily take 15% average for next 10 years 😛

When you're retired, with no income other than your investments, and your account balances still keep growing despite the spend. That's a powerful feeling.

Already I admitted I got this wrong.  I didn't think trump would chicken out and reverse his tariffs.

Was also transparent that I cashed out what I needed for 2025 (5%), the rest remains invested.  Still nervous and watching.

It's not about being right or wrong. It's about giving investing advise that you really don't mean because you didn't even do it yourself.

Like I said, a sad sack pathetic life loser.

I’m down 7% YTD in my main account that I sweat over.

Down 2.5% in my set it and forget it old man investments account

Down 18% in my gambling account 😮

Have DCA’d in all these accounts. Individual stocks and index funds so eventually will see some bountiful crops I hope!

One month later:

Main account is just a tick below zero YTD, like a quarter percent hopefully even after mutual funds update tonight.

Old man account is in the green at 1.6%

Gambling account dragging asss at -12%

Two and half months later

Main account just over 8%

Old man account 2.5%

Gambling account 3%

It's advice, not advise, and I wasn't giving anyone advice, everyone has different goals and different situations.  I'm not going to pretend to be an advisor like you do.  I thought everything was gonna tank, I was wrong.

Wait, so you thought the market was going to tank, but you only took 5% out of the market?  So were you not confident in the prediction or something?

You clearly said it was the last chance to get out before it's too late.  So if you believed that, why didn't you get out before it was too late?

I took out the money I needed short term.  Was not confident it would be a long term thing.  It wasn't.  My long term money stayed invested.

I believed the market was going to go down.  I've said that repeatedly.  I'm glad it didn't.

I still believe there is a chance we see a large correction, depends on the tariffs and taco.  I'm not willing to be on it though.

Why is this hard for you to understand?

You said it was the last chance to get out before it was too late.  And you didn't get out.  5% is peanuts, and if it was short term money you were taking it out anyway.

You admitted that you weren't confident in your prediction.

Therefore, you say shìt just to say shìt.  Not really a hard conclusion to come to.

Look... I get you need Trump to fail at all costs.  I get it.  Here's where you lie and say you don't want him to fail, but it's clear you do by virtually everything you post.  You clearly hate the guy.

Me?  I'd like to see him and all the other pedos go down, but at the same time I'm also not going to just say shìt just to say shìt just because I think he's a fat pedo retard.  People aren't all good or all bad.  He's in a position where his policies can effect the economy,   it's in my best interest to read the tea leaves correctly whether I like the guy or not.

You on the other hand are just saying he's going to fail when your actions indicate you don't really think that which lines up perfectly with my perception of you that you're just playing the role of good wokie to get those pats on the head you need for some reason.

I sold the equities months before I needed it.  I specifically said I went to more safety because I was nervous about trump tanking the market.  He did tank the market, then he reversed policy and the market recovered.  So turns out I got it wrong.

I do hate him and I want him to fail.  I believe if he fails then America will be better off.  You disagree.

I understand you need to support him so you just say stupid sh1t.  People can see right though you.

No I'm pretty sure I always wanted him to fail.  I believe his failure is Americas victory.

Tim said he doesn't want him to fail.  You're confused.  I get it.
