As a Texans fan anyone on that team playing decent is a plus in my book

polecatt 403 Posted February 4, 2022 Overall 1. JaMarr Chase 2. Kyle Pitts 3. Najee Harris 4. Jaylen Waddle 5. Javonte Williams
TBayXXXVII 2,117 Posted February 5, 2022 I'm going to assume you mean going forward... QB's Mac Jones Kyle Trask Davis Mills Zach Wilson Kellen Mond The rest shouldn't be in the NFL after completion of the 2023 season. RB's Najee Harris Javonte Williams Travis Etienne Michael Carter Elijah Mitchell WR's Ja'Marr Chase DeVonta Smith Jalen Waddle Rondale Moore Amon-Ra St. Brown TE's Kyle Pitts Pat Freiermuth No one else worth mentioning.

Mac had the better rookie season but I would still rank Lawrence higher as I think his upside is still greater in the long run. There are some sick plays he was able to make and I think when this kid puts it all together hes gonna be one hell of a player. Not that Mac Jones wont be. I just think Lawrence will be a bit better. My opinion.

Kyle Trask at 2, based on what, your homer goggles or just plain delusion?

Based on the fact that he didn't suck like everyone else. I don't think he's a franchise QB. I think he might be a decent backup. He'll probably play for a number of years in the NFL. I don't think anyone else other than Mac Jones lasts as a starter from this past draft.

I think Trevor Lawrence could end up being better in the long run. Mac Jones came into a great situation, having the best possible coach. Trevor Lawrence had the opposite situation with Urban Meyer being a complete joke, which should have been obvious from the start. I think it is easy to overlook how much coaching plays into how a rookie QB performs.
Ray_T 591 Posted February 6, 2022 agreed. I think for a young QB coaching can make or break a career

I just think that he played so terribly, that I can't give him the benefit of the doubt at this point.
Gepetto 987 Posted February 7, 2022 QB 1. Mac Jones 2. Davis Mills RB 1. Najee Harris 2. Javonte Williams 3. Elijah Mitchell WR 1. Ja'Maar Chase 2. Amon-Ra St. Brown 3 Jaylen Waddle 4. DeVonta Smith TE 1. Kyle Pitts
polecatt 403 Posted February 7, 2022 It used to be WRs were very rarely good their rookie season. We've had two seasons in a row now with an elite rookie WR. That would be Justin Jefferson last season and Jamarr Chase this season. I wonder if that's a trend that's gonna continue
