The 70s, 80s and 90s were awesome. 

America is taken a turn for the worse and I don't see it ever recovering.

I think you are correct. It’s time to  be with your family and your circle of friends and enjoy being with them. I used to go places and have a good time with people I don’t know. Now I don’t want to talk to anyone. I think back to going to Fenway and all the laughs I had there with Boston fans. It was awesome. Now I would just talk to who I am with. Everyone broke each other’s balls and you laughed when they said funny shite, even at your expense. Now everyone is uptight.

There have been many times in US history, including the 70s, when most people have thought they were in a dark period. It’s all cyclical and not nearly as good or bad as you think.

Oklahoma bombing, columbine, World Trade Center bombing, La riots, Princess Diana, Tupac. Take your pick. We can go round and round or you can just be “you know what you’re right. You can do that with any decade”. Reason I say early 2000s is cause the internet hadn’t ruined things yet nor did we have racism boom until 2010s. We also had patriotism back then which started dropping off in 2010s to where it’s trendy to hate the US even though you live here and refuse to move
