Makes him the 5th highest paid TE by avg/yr. Only half is guaranteed. Still a lot of skrilla for a guy who hasn't done a whole lot.
AxeElf 787 Posted May 28, 2022 Jacoby Brissett did target his TE almost 300 times in the 2017 and 2019 seasons for the Colts...

Showboat 145 Posted May 29, 2022 Got to figure the rest of the owners are not too pleased with the Browns re-setting the salary markets for a QB with plenty of off-field question marks and a TE who hasn't done squat. I wonder how long it will be before they force new ownership for the Browns.
Ray_T 591 Posted May 29, 2022 spending uncontrollably usually results in companies going out of business. in the case of the Nfl it means a long period in salary cap jail when the players get to a point where they are not worth the money spent. this day may come quickly for cleveland. its not a winning strategy.
Super Cubs 132 Posted May 29, 2022 or in 2 years Watson will force his way out and the Browns will get serval high draft picks for him. Avoiding cap hell and kicking off the rebuild.
Ray_T 591 Posted May 29, 2022 or he gets suspended, browns decide they wanna cut bait and are stuck with a big contract nobody else wants. it was a risky move to begin with given his status with the lawsuit still up in the air.
Gepetto 987 Posted May 30, 2022 Cleveland Browns spend money like the US Government. Oh well, good for Njoku. He's a good TE and worth a draft spot in ff at the right value.
